Smiley, I've merged your two topics as there's no need to have two separate topics for the same subject. Multiple users have provided you with an answer, and perhaps an obvious language barrier is limiting your understanding, but please make an effort to use a translator. There are countless topics that discuss the pros and cons of using retail or nulled. Our database has several versions for you to choose from. Ultimately, the choice between nulled and retail is yours to make, but I strongly recommend using the latest version of whichever you choose. Topic closed. After my own experience and the recent rash of new infections, I wanted to take a moment and outline a new backdoor trojan / malware that poses a significant risk to CMS users as well as anyone who seeks out third-party "nulled" or "free" content. If you’re technically minded and want as much detail as possible, check out the Whitepaper that Fox-IT has published on the CryptoPHP backdoor (50 pages or so). If not, I've put together a summary below. Going forward, I will be instructing our team to utilize more rigorous and aggressive scanning techniques to ensure the continued quality of our content here, and the safety of our users. One idea currently being discussed, is requiring all submissions to link to a valid (and current) VirusTotal scan. As you should already know, "nulled" scripts are commercial web applications that you can obtain from [pirate] websites that have been modified to work without a license key (often including WordPress plugins and themes, the target of this post). WebFlake is widely considered to be primarily a pirate community, but I believe we are bigger (and better) than that, which is why I strive for the best security here. Per Fox-IT, some nulled scripts are confirmed as being distributed via several websites of similar nature to WebFlake, with a sophisticated infection pre-installed. Fox-IT has dubbed it CryptoPHP because of the fact that it encrypts data before it sends it to command and control servers. The infection is relatively simple; inside a nulled script there’s a little line of code that looks like this: <?php include('assets/images/social.png'); ?> If you're familiar with PHP, you will immediately recognize this as looking strange: it is a PHP directive to include an external file containing PHP source code, but the file is actually an image. Inside this image file is actual PHP and the code is obfuscated (hidden through scrambling) to try and hide the fact that it’s malicious. Hopefully you have enough sense to implement additional security on your WordPress site (such as Wordfence) as, fortunately, Wordfence is aware of this infection and have since added an option to scan image files as if they are PHP code. Wordfence will detect the 'include' directive above in your PHP source, so even if you haven’t enabled image-file scanning, you will still catch all known variants of this infection (provided you are running the newest version of Wordfence). Fox-IT has determined that the purpose of the malware is, currently, to engage in black-hat SEO by injecting links to other, presumably malicious, websites into your content. However this infection is sophisticated and it communicates with command and control servers that can instruct it to do a variety of tasks including the ability to upgrade itself. So this is a classic botnet infection which turns all infected websites into drones that can be instructed to do just about anything, from sending spam email to SEO spam to hosting illegal content to performing attacks on other websites. This infection doesn't just affect WordPress but affects Drupal and Joomla too. The detection Wordfence added will actually detect the infection in Drupal or Joomla source code too if that lives under your WordPress directory. Again, you can find the full white paper discussing this new threat here and it includes quite a bit of technical detail if you're interested in that kind of thing. Please help spread the word about the danger involved in downloading or distributing third-party "nulled" content and help keep the WebFlake community safe.

I just answered this question in your other topic, which you replied to and acknowledged my response. No need to continually ask this question. I'm merging the two topics. You're welcome to use any combination or retail or nulled software / applications / hooks. Considering the risk involved in using allegedly "nulled" copies of IP.Nexus, I'd recommend sticking with retail versions. We cannot provide support for third-party content. You'll need to request assistance with that package on the site you downloaded it from. Fairly common sense. Use the link m000 provided, select the appropriate package, and unzip the package in your hosting root. If you're not sure what package you need to download, contact your hosting provider and ask them which operating system your package uses (or even better, ask them to select the appropriate IonCube package for you).

The ads displayed on WebFlake are non-intrusive, silent, and only displayed to generate partial revenue for continued upkeep. It takes some nerve to publicly belittle our choice in using them altogether. If you have a complaint about a specific advert on WebFlake, here is what we need in order to (potentially) get it fixed: Most important: Contact us by clicking the Contact Us link at the top of the page (in the main menu) and be sure to select "Bad Advertisement" from the available selections on the left. This will automatically direct your message to the appropriate department. Take a screenshot of the ad and include a link to it in your message. Let us know your location on the site (simply copy/paste the URL of the page that displays the ad), since different ad networks will service different areas. Tell us the URL the ad is serving from. For non-flash ads, all this takes is right-clicking the ad, selecting "Copy Image Location" and pasting the URL into your message. For Flash ads, this is a little more difficult. With Firefox, you can do this by going into Tools > Page Info, then clicking the "Media" tab. Look for anything that says "Embed" on the right (those are the Flash files), and right click on the URL and select "copy" (for Chrome, simply use Inspect Element). Then paste that link into the email. Safari users meanwhile, can just open the Activity Window, expand everything, and screenshot that. Please do NOT post ad reports on the forums. We won't get to them as quickly, and on the off-chance you're reporting an ad with spyware in it, we don't want it linked all over the forums. Do NOT report ads just because you do not like seeing them, don't like the brand, or for any otherwise petty rationale. Some of examples of ads we don't want to see here: Flashing, jiggling, or otherwise seizure-inducing ads. Ads that play sound on a page-load. Any ad banner that asks you to download or install something. WebFlake will never ask you to install something that you didn't specifically select from our Downloads database. "Adult" content.

Couple of problems. First and foremost, the hook you are using is incompatible with your current forum version. Worse yet, is that this hook is rumored to be problematic to remove, leading some folks to do a fresh install. You're welcome to seek out an updated version of this hook (provided one exists) and attempt to upgrade it.

First and foremost, the support section is not for "gimmes" or handouts. As for your request itself, the transfer or trade of software licences is prohibited. Only trusted members are given the option of selling a licence here on WebFlake via our Marketplace. Topic locked.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays on behalf of WebFlake Staff. Please have safe travels if you plan on traveling throughout the holidays as well!

I was afraid of that. Unfortunately for him, WebFlake doesn't fudge our online count.

I've moved this to the appropriate forum As for the question, what exactly are you asking? IP.Board shows online counts by default, including guests.

Sorry, but we're not in the business of rendering support to someone who steals our community name, even if your site has nothing to do with web administration. Topic locked. -

Please try to be more descriptive. What settings did you change? Did the signatures work fine before? Can you show us an example of how you expect them to look, and what they look like now? Reviewing our Support Request Guidelines will go a long way in assisting us with providing you a resolution to your problem.

In light of our recently vacated Head Moderator position, I have spent the last few days determining which of our esteemed Moderators would make the next leap as Jrock's successor. Obviously, this was a tough decision. I have an immense amount of respect for our Moderator group, and they each bring their own set of intangibles to the team; but only one can rise above the rest. That being said, TJKeeran has shown an impressive desire to go that extra mile to always ensure his contributions and work ethic is top-notch; that is why he is our newest Head Moderator. I am entirely confident that TJ will continue to thrive and grow in his new role, especially with the continued support and shared insight from Kingy and Hidden Ninja. Some of you may have questions about Jrock, but the most I can tell you is that despite how much love and admiration I have for J, we cannot have our most prominent Moderator role being filled by a Staff member who is no longer active. I welcome him with open arms should he ever wish to become active again, but until then, WebFlake must move forward. Speaking of inactivity, Norg has been dismissed from his Moderator role as well. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. Are you interested in becoming a part of the WebFlake team? Check out our

While you have creative freedom to advertise your website as you desire, we do require you to include some relevant information: Website Link Site Description Number of Members Software Used WebFlake Staff reserves the right to remove a thread in this forum for any reason at any time. Some of those reasons may include: Incomplete design. We realize that all websites are constantly in a state of being a "work in progress", however, if your website or forum lacks basic design elements such as a theme, logo, favicon, etc... your thread will likely be removed. Site is inaccessible. If your site just brings visitors to a registration page or has an overwhelming majority of its content gated behind premium or restricted areas, your thread will likely be removed. However, if you are recruiting Staff, you must disclose in your advertisement that certain areas are hidden. No content. Sites with empty forums, blogs, or general content will have their threads removed. Adding content is hard work and only sites that have actually done the work will be allowed to maintain a thread in this forum. Do not submit sites that have similar sections and/or have copied/leeched materials from WebFlake (you will likely be suspended/banned from WebFlake if you do this). Also keep the following in mind: Please only submit websites that you personally own/run. Do not submit websites for a friend. Do not advertise any site related to pornography, extremism, hacking, or sites similar in nature to WebFlake. When creating your advertisement, please try to avoid obnoxiously large images or flashing lights that would induce a seizure even for non-epileptic people. Reviews If a site has been submitted for review, we welcome all members to review those sites. Keep the following in mind when replying to a submitted site's topic: While negative reviews are acceptable, they should be constructive. Posting something such as "I like it", "Nice site" or "I don't like it" is not acceptable. Take a moment to explain why you like or dislike the site. The reviews can be short but should contain specific things you like or dislike. Sites should not be reviewed by its Staff members. After writing a review, be sure to "rate" the site using the "rate the topic" stars at the top of the page (this is not required but can be helpful). Please do not rate topics unless you have provided a review. Do not ask to become a Staff member at one of the posted sites in these forums. You may do so via private messages only if the thread author consents to it. If you are interested in being considered for a Staff position at one of the sites listed here, please join that site and apply for any open Staff positions there. Do not request a copy of the site's theme, hooks, applications, or other content. This is not a support section. Keep in mind that writing good reviews — whether positive or negative — are one of the ways we will evaluate your membership here at WebFlake. These guidelines, parameters, and thresholds are subject to change at any time, at the discretion of WebFlake administration.
