  2. Applications are now OPEN! This thread will remain open for two (2) weeks, closing on Sunday, August 17th. Thank you to all interested applicants.
  3. Unfortunately this topic has run its course thanks to persistent spamming from new users, etc. Topic locked.
  4. There is no WWE "versus" TNA. It's WWE, then there's TNA. TNA is an indie promotion, while WWE is a worldwide conglomerate. There is no comparison and there simply isn't any other venue out there that will ever compete with WWE. If you're referencing the disparity in styles, then yes.. there's an obvious difference. WWE has talent, whereas TNA is a cesspool of potential new WWE recruits, WWE castaways, or terrible gimmicks that fizzle out after a few weeks.
  5. As your topic appears to be a support topic for IP.Board, we have moved it to the appropriate forum.
  6. Been some time since I've seen genuine feedback. The majority of this topic is filled with spam. If you would like to offer constructive criticism or offer a heartfelt thanks, feel free to post in our Feedback forum. This topic is now locked.

  9. I contemplated just "removing" this topic as an example for why you should appropriately name your support topics, but then I realized no one would see it. Instead, I'll happily post this: USE DESCRIPTIVE TOPIC TITLES FOR YOUR SUPPORT TOPICS! Edited your topic title to include the words "line (skin adjustment)" as I'm not even sure what the hell you are asking. Perhaps reviewing our Support Request Guidelines would do you some good.
  10. I appreciate your effort to help rid the community of spammers. I've removed the account in question (not sure how he managed to go unnoticed). For future issues like these, please contact Jrock or I directly (via PM). Issue resolved = topic locked.
  11. No point in a topic that was started by a now banned member remaining open, especially when all critical discussion has passed. It's devolved into redundancy. Topic locked.
  12. This is precisely why we encourage users to avoid using download managers or related software / browser extensions. There is currently no feature that permits members to view their "remaining downloads". If the system says you've reached your daily cap, there is nothing we can do for you. Your only option is to wait for the daily reset.
  13. The only truth in this is that Darby and Sullivan are former members of the vBulletin team. The rest is complete bullshit. Darby and Sullivan left the vBulletin team after Internet Brands acquired Jelsoft, the original company that owned the vBulletin software. Both Darby and Sullivan wanted to rewrite the entire code base for vBulletin using Zend PHP (the framework for XenForo) but were challenged by their (then) employers, Internet Brands. So, they left the team and started XenForo. A little bit of research on XenForo would tell you that the platform is a hell of a lot more robust (especially in security) than what vBulletin ever was. vBulletin's issues with security have absolutely nothing to do with the XenForo team. Seems to me like a lot of folks here know very little about XenForo, aside from wild assumptions.
  14. This is wrong in so many ways. XenForo is far from being bested by IPS. Each platform has their individual strengths and weaknesses, but XenForo has plenty more to offer. They've actually released both 1.2 and 1.3 within the last year and several third-point releases in between. XenForo is far more active than IPS in terms of proactive development, especially with their new approach to said development (releasing smaller patches for continued content rather than one big patch every few months). XF 1.3 focused heavily on moderation improvements. Version 1.4 is rumored to be core improvement oriented (the features allegedly "missing"). mmj - Bottom line, XenForo is a more sociable platform. Far easier to design and manipulate on the fly in comparison to IPB's rigid template system (which doesn't grant access to core functionality and requires you to delve into your FTP). There is no denying that IPB has far more built-in features, but I'd rather start with a product that has less and build upon it, than work with bloatware. XenForo is not inferior to IPB overall. Don't let biased critique sway you from creating an objective opinion about both platforms. For the record, I favor IPB but love XenForo as well.
  15. Typically, that error is associated with having empty lines in an XML file. In your instance, line one. Unfortunately, I'm not quite certain which file generates the RSS (the file that is likely causing the error).
  16. Either this is a dimwitted attempt to increase your post count, or you're a lousy webmaster incapable of following simple format on this site. If you want to make another logo request, ensure that you are linking to an active site (not one that has been dead for months according to DNS records) and also have a look at the Topic locked.
  17. Obviously this topic is being used for facetious posting, thus it is now locked.

    Question I Have a Question

WebFlake is using the latest version of IP.Board, 3.4.6.

    Question No More MyBB?

If there is an overwhelming demand for it, possibly. Even then it's unlikely, mostly for the reasons listed in our announcements (i.e. it's open source). At this time however, there are no plans to make the MyBB database available. As your question has been answered, I'm going to go ahead and lock this topic.

    Question No More MyBB?

See this thread for details (near the bottom of the post):
  21. Love that two users have failed to notice the OP is banned. <insert enormous face-palm here> Topic locked.
  22. I fail to see the point in using this tutorial. It's unlikely that IPS Staff is limited to just their internal network (most of whom actually work remotely), and even then.. they could simply confirm their suspicions when they view it on their home network. Blocking IPS would be more harmful than beneficial.
  23. Apologies for not responding to this sooner. Glad you got it all sorted out! The question(s) in this support topic have been answered and the owner has been able to solve the problem. Because of this, the support topic has been closed and moved. If you have other questions, please open a new topic.
