    I use Hostgator and GoDaddy. HG for hosting, GD for domains. I null it myself. Basically retail with no annoying enter license keys. Keeps HG of my ass. Generally offshores cost more, I was looking at offshorewebspace, but HG is better.

    Internet isn't for making friends. Desire's opinion on the internet that it is for pirating the firetruck out of things and playing games, and looking up homework. That, my "friends" (Get it?) is the definition of the internet.

    Accidently replaced index.html in my forum folder. Whoops. At least all I did was a few hours work.

      We'll if it's IPB just simply replace it back with the index.html folder that is in the download of the IPB version you have...

    Got a GoDaddy domain. Includes Registration, Verified Domain, and private domain $10 a year.

    Another thing. I use an addon domain for my board, and upon using it, the subdomian (desirespec.hackingrs.org) shows in the URL instead of the domain (desirespec.com) Why is this the case? it's only in IPB that it does this. I created the folder to put the forum in via the root FTP, and didn't do it via cPanel. Your solution for my first problem worked, by the way.

It's only on mobile version that it does this.First line of call was open dreamweaver. Checked the code, no syntax errors.

    Ah, that's what went wrong. I was having issues with the local FTP, so I used the root FTP. Topic closed, I'll re-open if any other issues come up.

    I added a folder via FTP to make the subfolder. My problem is that I use an addon domain, which makes a subdomain, and this shows up in the URL when using ipb, but nowhere else.

    I created a sub folder in my domain titled forum Uploaded ipb to itNow the URL says example.subdomain.org instead of example.com.The issue only is on ipb folder, no other folder or subdomain has this problem.Help?
