  1. General Disclaimer WebFlake is not responsible for the transactions that take place within this category, or subsequent private messages. When entering into an agreement with another user, you agree to hold harmless WebFlake and its Staff, and also acknowledge that you are waiving any implied security rights in this community, specifically for the Marketplace. WebFlake promises to investigate all matters involving potential or alleged scams and will take the appropriate action. WebFlake will not replace lost funds, content, or services. When entering our Marketplace, you acknowledge that your interactions with other users are at your own risk. These rules may be altered at any given time as necessary for the benefit of the community. It is your responsibility to review them as often as possible. Post Restrictions Lifted - April 18th, 2018 Marketplace posting restrictions have been lifted, however, we've applied new restrictions. Regular and above: no restrictions. Novices can respond to topics and create new topics with the Buying/Hiring prefixes. Novices cannot use the Selling/Trading prefixes. Newbies cannot create new topics but they can respond to existing threads. Please note that intentionally misusing prefixes or any other attempts to circumvent restrictions will result in warnings and/or account closure. Policy Amendment - February 24th, 2015 In light of recent issues involving unethical business practice and dysfunctional websites, we are no longer allowing the advertising of hosting services by regular members. This means you cannot link to, recommend, or otherwise promote a hosting service that is not an accredited name-brand business such as GoDaddy, HostGator, iPage, BlueHost, etc. Doing so will result in the removal of the post / topic and potentially warrant account penalty. Administrators, Senior Moderators and Moderators, as volunteers to this community, are clearly a trustworthy commodity and therefore completely exempt from this new policy. They can advertise their service, or a service they currently use. Junior Moderators, Experts, Contributors and Retired Staff are able to apply for an exemption by contacting an Administrator. Senior Moderators and Moderators are not permitted to make exemptions. All other members are subject to this policy at all times, no exceptions. As additional clarification, this does not mean if you are a GoDaddy reseller you can still advertise your services. The issue here is not the service rendered but the capacity in which it is, that all too often results in investment loss or incompetent support. The following guidelines for the WebFlake Marketplace must be followed at all times - posts and topics are subject to removal at Staff's discretion at any time. First and foremost, services and products offered in this section must be Webmaster-related. Please do not offer products or services for things such as Xbox subscriptions, hacks, gaming mods, etc. Topics like these will be deleted. When offering a service or product.. You may not offer the services of another individual. Any services offered must be your own with your own content. You may not sell products that you do not own or author. For instance, attempting to sell retail copies of IPB Shift (ripped or downloaded), is not permitted. You may not sell products currently listed in our Downloads section. You may not offer free services in the Marketplace. Post them elsewhere in the appropriate forums (i.e. free theme rips belong in Webmaster Discussion). You may not offer a service that places our users at immediate risk, either legally or through potentially malicious software. You must specify a price and an estimated time of delivery for the service or product. You may link to a third-party portfolio or service site such as Fiverr, eLance, or Guru. When seeking a service or product.. You may not request free retail copies of skins, applications, or plugins here. You may submit a buy order where you offer to pay for the plugin/application to be purchased from a licensed user. You may not request lewd services or anything of pornographic or otherwise offensive nature. You must offer a budget, an expected time of delivery, and all relevant details to work required. Note: There will be competition among users. Please do not file reports or harass other users for "stealing" your rips or ideas. If you believe a copy of your work is being sold without your consent, please contact a member of the Staff team directly (preferably through the report system) and offer substantiating evidence that proves the content is yours. Tip: Users offering theme ripping services should include a brief notation embedded somewhere in the rip that will prove the file is yours (this will prevent a user purchasing a rip from you and reselling it). You are not permitted to link to your website. It is strongly recommended that you do not make the stamp physically visible. A date/time and username will be sufficient. Miscellaneous Rules These are here solely to avoid "but I didn't know!" responses to warnings. Most will be common sense. You may not post topics for free services that say "I'll offer for free what X user is charging X amount of money for". As long as you do not name a user or their titled service, your post will be permitted. When providing a feedback on a user's service, do not flame the user or attempt to discredit them based on price. You are not obligated to purchase their service, so you have no right to complain about their chosen pricing. With the introduction of this Marketplace, any Private Messages that are sent to other users asking for services such as theme rips, will now be considered Unsolicited Support Requests and will be handled accordingly. When interested in hiring a user for their advertised services, respond to the thread. Confidential details may then be taken to Private Messages. Any item listings left untouched for a month or more are subject to archival. Any services topic left untouched for three months or more is subject to archival. Due to only having a handful of topics in this section, bumping your topic is not allowed. There are four (4) prefixes topic creators should be using when posting in this section. Below are a handful of examples for each prefix. This is not an all-inclusive list. Buying This prefix is meant to be used for users wishing to buy a product or package, such as: Web hosting Domain name Plugin/Application (from licensed user) Hiring This prefix should be used when you are seeking the services of another user for freelance work, such as: Theme rips Personal support Application / Plugin setup Installation assistance Theme design Theme alterations Application / Plugin development Selling This prefix is meant for the selling of products or services, such as: Hosting Freelance support Theme design Theme ripping General community services Direct-buy offers for plugins/applications Trading This prefix is to be used only when you are.. Trading services Trading 'file for file' (in this instance, you may trade content you do not own, as you are not collecting funds)
  2. It's not "music".. it's a parody.
  3. The tutorial looks fine.. just asking you to be wary of the content you snatch from there.
  4. I'd be careful with copy/pasting content from "Weblicanto" (one of the images includes the name of the site). Not only is the owner of that site banned from WebFlake, but it's merely a spin-off of WebFlake itself. The site's owner was banned from our community for inserting malicious content into his uploads and leeching our content. So while the tutorials, in theory, may be safe to copy.. please do not share any uploads from their site here.
  5. Actually, I believe the OP is asking how to make all avatars rounded.. not just default avatars. To do that, you'll need to open ipb_styles.css in your ACP, locate .ipsUserPhoto and add the following: border-radius: 50px;
  6. It's come to my attention that we're facing a rash of users who are abusing our Private Messaging system in an effort to procure private business for freelance services such as the sale of ripped skins. It's one thing to offer a contribution for fulfillment of a support request (i.e. "help me set up IP.Content"), and then complete the transaction privately. You are not permitted however, to sell ripped skins or any other form of content, nor are you permitted to contact a user privately and request such a service (fee or no fee). Reasoning is simple: you do not own the content, and you are not sharing it publicly. We permit our users to submit ripped skins for general use by anyone within the community. Sending a private message such as "I'll pay you $10 to rip X skin for me" or "I'll rip X skin for you for X dollars" will earn you a warning, or potentially a ban. Habitual offenders will be banned, conversations deleted, and funds may be lost in the process (especially if you never receive the content as a result of your ban). Staff has been discussing the possibility of adding a freelance area, but we have not yet hashed out the details. Feel free to post questions here.

      Fiverr is a great place! - Earning a bit of money every month now, will get fluctuations in sales tho.

      Thinking about going cheap work for money, I mean if anyone says "I can't ball that high" I guess I can tell them to go mow a lawn.

  10. This isn't the appropriate thread for support. Please create your own topic in IP.Board Support for further assistance.

    The waiting period is there to prevent bot downloads, common sense really. We already have a download cap of 15 downloads per day for regular users (only Subscribers and Donators are unlimited). Lowering that cap or placing a post requirement only encourages spam (we've tried and tested this before).

  16. In the last week or so we've had several changes to our Staff team. As part of our new community outreach policy, I felt it necessary to update you all. Please be aware that I will not be answering questions regarding departures, as every Staff member here is entitled to their privacy as the rest of you are. New Addition! Please give a warm welcome to our newest Moderator, STAR. I've had the pleasure of working closely with STAR on a number of design projects, and truly believe he will be a wonderful addition to our team. There are dozens of you who have been provided with free design work and I'm sure you'll all agree that his work is outstanding. Welcome Back, Purple! Purple has managed to find some time in her schedule to rejoin the team, and we're all thrilled to have a familiar face back in the fold. Departures Evarni and Chris have both decided to depart from the team for personal reasons. Please respect the privacy of each of these former Staff members and refrain from posting speculations and/or "where did they go" threads. In closing, be sure to to leave a friendly shout-out to STAR and Purple!

  22. Try fixing the BBCode formatting. This is why copy/pasting tutorials from other sites is a bad idea.

  24. For starters, this is not posted in the correct section. I'd move it, but you haven't specified what forum package you are using. I'll leave this open for now, but without more details, I'll be archiving it.

    Feedback Why I use other sites

    In , you posted: "Looks nice. I'll try it out now". In [skin] Curve White, you posted: "Looks nice, I'm going to try it out now". Not a very clever attempt at posting the same content in two separate threads (a mere two minutes apart). So, you were saying...? I take personal offense to this. Just over a month ago, I fulfilled a $25 request for free for you. You've also had two other support requests filled, amiably. Interesting choice of words for someone playing the part of a "victim". If you believe you have found other credible "alternatives" that offer the same level of service, support, and quality content (I'd wager you haven't), then perhaps you should be there and not here.
