You can do this without a hook. Create a new user group for the verified members that you want to be able to view the gallery. For example, let's say you create a new user group called Gallery. Now all you need to do is this . . . [*]At the bottom of Members > Manage Member Groups > Group Settings make it so that Members are automatically promoted to Gallery when they reach 10 (or however many you want) approved posts. [*]In Other Apps > Gallery > Overview set the permissions for your Members and Gallery user groups for gallery usage. It's really that simple. The only drawback is that a member must post to initiate these settings automatically. For example, let's say I am a member of your site and I have 100 posts. I will not be moved from the Members group to the Gallery group until I actually make a post. I am not trying to be mean here, but do you even realize how ridiculous this topic is? While we can assume that you are using IPB 3.4.x (because that is what is in your profile), we have no idea what kind of help you need. [*]You went through over 100 IPB skins and couldn't find one you want to keep. Well, that seems rather odd to me. [*]Without knowing what skins you went through . . and based on the sheer volume of skins you went through . . . there's a really good chance that any skin someone recommends will be one that you have already looked at. [*]The fact that you looked at over 100 skins and couldn't find one you wanted to keep kind of tells me that this is an exercise in futility. [*]Based on your original post, we have no idea what kind of website you have. So, it would be stupid to recommend a gaming skin if your site is about basket weaving.

It seems to me that if you re-upload the engraved.xml.gz it wouldn't bother your customizations. But I dunno.

The skin config isn't in your ftp, it is in the Look and Feel > Manage Templates & CSS > Templates > _ipbfsConfig Is this what you deleted?

Didn't you keep a copy of the skin when you uploaded it? Anyway, Engraved is currently in our Donator's section.

When Social Groups is installed it is very important to rebuild HTML, CSS and Replacements and then recache your skin. I had these same errors until I did this. Also, make sure the social groups hooks are enabled.

It has been a while since I set this up on my board . . but try this. Find a member that has an animated gif as their profile avatar. Ask them to delete it and re-upload it. See if it works properly on all areas of the board then. If I am not mistaken, when you update the settings for the avatars/photos it only takes effect for the gifs uploaded after the settings were updated. Test it out. If this is still true, then basically everyone will have to re-upload their photo for the new settings to apply.
