    I didnt find it ,but i found the reCaptcha thingy , so i got the key and i've set it up. is that enough to prevent spam ??, is in your original configuration of ipb in admin => member => parameter member => spam protection you have 4 choices here : capcha - mark as spammer - ips antispam - and the last the quizz question (is here you enter your question for custom capcha) It won't be enough to keep spammers out for long. If you are smart, you use CleanTalk. I'm not just suggesting this because it's a fun thing to do, I'm suggesting it because I had to deal with spam bots pming people on my board, and I gave CleanTalk a shot and ever since I had it installed, I haven't had a single spam bot sign up. Yes it's not free, but it's only $8 for a whole year. https://cleantalk.org

    Install the cleantalk anti-spam plugin. It's free for a period, then you have to pay once for a year (not expensive) but it works. I had spammers on my board too until I installed cleantalk.

    Where you typed <header>, replace it with forumIndex. Add the code there.

    Some stuff definitely will break during the upgrade regarding themes. I think plugin will keep working, but don't quote me on that. They changed the css stuff and template for the second menu bar,which is what I'm concerned about on how that's going to affect themes.
