  1. Indeed. The Webflake admin staff don't tell which hosting they use.

I have some ideas to make it look a bit more unique. Looking forward myself to put up some previews and gain feedback from the community I'm making it for.

  3. but it makes it look like I have 3 of the same awards now and makes me feel awarded. do agree though its a bug.
  4. So this is another forum game, pretty easy -- ask a question to the poster below you. You answer their question, then follow it up with another question for the poster below you. Example etc. So I will start first. Do you think that we will ever be able to count to 10 in the "Count to 10 before a staff posts" thread again?
  5. Thinking of making some IPB skins and share them with Webflake.

I'll PM you, I'm way too lazy to photoshop it into one picture.

      Skins are always nice

  6. Personally, I wouldn't like this design. You are adding 3D elements to a 2D design (if you get what I'm saying). IPB 4.0 was designed with flat in mind. What type of forum does he have? The font looks ok to me. Again, personally. If he likes it, then that's good.
  7. I am not the only administrator, so while this would be the option for me, I don't want to do this every time for the other admin.
  8. Unfortunately, this seems like an out of the question option if the IP changes completely because we often use different networks (secured, though) to connect.
  9. You pay for security, reliability, and overall support. You pay a price for a reason. Your site will remain up until you decide it goes offline (by not paying anymore, or violating their rules, etc.). You don't have to make a back up every day out of fear that it might disappear again. Why? Because you pay a price to ensure this doesn't happen. They can't afford to just simply disappear. They have made a name for themselves for a reason. If you are serious about owning a website, and don't screw around - you are more than willing to sacrifice like $40 for top notch quality, than $2 and have the fear of making a back up everyday JUST in case it disappears again.
  10. You wouldn't have to make daily back ups if you don't have the risk of it disappearing one day. Which makes you feel safer using the webhost.
  11. Damnit sihko, you werent ninja enough! 2.
  12. 4 I'm super ninja about this right now!
  13. I'm with a premium host myself too, and very happy. If it's too good to be true, it most likely is. Premium is more expensive, but you can be ensured they don't disappear with your money. They're an actual business. Not just some internet business started by just a random guy.
  14. Twinkle Twinkle Litt.. hey a squirrel.

  15. Thanks for the time to write this tutorial. Sadly, I will have to replace my beta forum again now.
  16. Very good post. Hopefully people learn from this that just because it is cheap, it isn't a golden deal - because it's not a golden deal at all.
  17. I never really see vBulletin forums around anymore. They all use XF or IPB, is this why? Good decision though. I still need to change my wordpress so this could come in handy
