However if you don't want to do that, then there is always a chance that your website can be shut down. Anyhow, I would recommend taking a full backup of your site and move to an offshore hosting company and possibly changing your domain name if you feel necessary to do so. Even if you live in the US, they can't do anything to you or your website. Alternatively, you can always just pay for the legitimate software, but I understand if you can't do so.
