How do I get the old BBCode selection back for when creating a post or reply like we had for IPB3.x?

yes, the old bbcode are good in old time because editor can't show all buttons in mobile and tablette or editor have no html.

but now what the point ? you have a full WYSIWYG editor with all button in all resolution ....

But if you would recup all old bbcode you can, but you need

  • to recreate all in html : ACP > Customization > Editor > Toolbars > Add Button > custom
  • or install the plugin propose by modoprueba and verify if you have all you need

I'm still lost I want the little selection box that shows all the BBCodes that are installed on my forum and that site is confusing when it comes to installing what I want.

this bbcode don't exist anymore because ips 4.X have all remplace by html directly in editor so is little useless to recreate them, just use html bbcode is more simple

Well I'm going back to IPB3 I don't like some of this stuff for IPB4 I liked IPB3 better. This topic can be closed.
