Good morning everyone, I can't imagine it comes as much of a surprise but it's time. WebFlake will be closing on August 1st, 2026; we have had a long run (again, mind you) and it's about time the team and I move on. It's pretty apparent that the activity isn't there anymore, and the admin and mod team don't really have a lot of time to do anything about the activity right now. We all have a lot going on, and it's best to not keep "kicking a dead horse". I want to express my absolute gratitude to each and every one of you for allowing us to make it this long, and hope to see you guys around. As of right now, I don't have any plans to close the Discord but also don't plan on making any updates to it either. The restrictions for downloads will be lifted for every user group up until we close our doors. As a reminder, we will not be selling, forwarding, or anything of that nature to anyone out there; I will make a backup of the site and that's it. Don't ask. Just remember, another knock-off is almost positively going to happen, and understand that we don't endorse any of them so be careful out there. Thank you all so much, James WebFlake Team

It's such a crazy concept to me on how this is being handled. I understand the bit about their downloads being down for some time, but it amazes me that they're releasing all of it altogether versus coming up with something else to help drive sales/downloads. I mean, something tells me that a majority of their traffic/relevance is from the downloads section; could be wrong though.

I'm probably going to wait until it's at least several months into development maybe. The BETA wasn't bad, and it felt a lot more fluid than MW2 but overall it was the same damn thing. I'm not sure what to think about it lol.
