Trader Feedback System Error

Valentine

Question

Hello there, I'm new. I have an important question. Recently, the trader feedback system has not been working, every time you finish giving out the feedback, you get this error:

This is happening to multiple people, different browsers, computers, mobile, so it's not that kind of issue. I rebuilt and recached the whole forums, and still no luck.

I should note the feedback still goes through.

How can I fix this? Please let me know. Thank you.

In template tools rebuild all  your skin sets at top of screen.

If that doesn't work  also do this further down the page

Rebuild Master Skin Data
Rebuild:
 Rebuild HTML
 Rebuild CSS
 Rebuild Replacements
For Applications:
 System (templates.xml last updated - 29-May 14)
 Forums (templates.xml last updated - 29-May 14)
 Members (templates.xml last updated - 29-May 14)
 Calendar (templates.xml last updated - --)
 Chat Services (templates.xml last updated - --)
Stop Forum Spam (templates.xml last updated - --)

I went ahead and disabled all of the ones we added recently, and it didn't work, but there's no need to disable the others since I never got these errors before hand - so nothing has changed. This is very disturbing, and an incredible shame.

I really hope I can find a fix for this, or at least an answer as to why it may be not working.

Ok all I can tell you is that error is an error that is caused by bad programming. A hook or app usually checks if a class was loaded , in this case profile_plugin_parent.

Then if not loaded loads it. Looks like in this case they just loaded it and because it was already loaded the error cannot redeclare class profile_plugin_parent..

What about apps you just installed?

Same for those, I disabled all the ones we added right around the time the error started happening and nothing. I don't think an older app could have caused it, but when the second admin gets online, I'll ask him to help me disable a few more just in case.

It's hard to disable a bunch of stuff because we have a community full of people who rely on a lot of the features and when something goes down or there's an error...they'll notice. haha

I figured out the problem. Using this tutorial:  and it broke the following: viewing feedback on some ones profile, and clicking the link to your profile, via notifications upon receiving a new comment on your profile, possibly more.

Nothing against the owner of that but that seems to have been what caused the issues, as when I removed the coding that he suggested adding, it fixed. I know we added it 100% properly too.
