The built in ad system will do that .. admin panel >; settings> Ad Code Integration

 

 

Found out how but when I try to add an image such as a banner it does not work whenever I use the tags or <img> it just comes out as a link I want to add an advertisement banner such as the following

Assuming you're using IP.Nexus, it's pure HTML code that you use. Not BBCode or anything. Make sure your HTML code is correct as well.

 

IE:

Thank you that worked I also have one more question.

 

What if I Wanted it to show a different banner everytime the forums page is refreshed or reopened how exactly would I add that in this is my current code

There is a built-in setting in IP.Nexus for advertisement rotation.

 

I can't tell you from memory where it's at, since it's been a while since I've used it, but make sure you have more than one advertisement for the same space.
