Over the last two weeks, I've been slowly sorting through what has grown into an enormous number of duplicates. There may have been some that I've missed so if you notice a duplicate file, same version or otherwise, report the file that isn't the latest version.
Please do not add the version number of a file to the file name. Use the file version field. This prevents unsightly names like "Plugin 1.0 1.0".
Also, I'd like to reiterate a longstanding policy regarding submissions:
Do NOT post downloads with passwords or files in them that advertise other sites (this includes links/images to your own site or "credits" to yourself).
It's come to my attention that we had a member who not only had well over a hundred duplicate files, but he had been inserting links to WebFlake, his WF profile, his GitHub page, etc into these files and folders. This is not acceptable. We don't want any reference to WebFlake or yourself in the file/folder (unless you're the actual author).
I've seen previous topics about this, where a disgruntled former Staff member stated publicly that users who submit files "deserve credit". No.
Only credit you're going to get is right here on WebFlake, by way of your name being displayed as the file submitter, trophies/medals, leaderboard, etc. You are not entitled to edit these files and include links of your choosing. If any user is found to be doing this going forward, they will be dealt with harshly. WebFlake prides itself on file integrity and we will continue to protect that reputation.
I will acknowledge that our official IPS nulls contain an update link to WF but this is purely to avoid editing core files beyond what is necessary.
You're likely to see a ton of files being "updated" when they're really just being downloaded, self-links removed, and re-uploaded. I apologize for any confusion this may cause.
