  1. Roses are red,Petunias are pink,Read enough of these poems,And you’ll need a stiff drink!
  2. Appreciate that, J! Took a bit of jerry-rigging with the Curve theme that Para released, but I got 'er in.
  3. This might be a silly request, but I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I'd like to add the user avatar in the nav-bar (right next to the message/notification icons), similar to what the original ForumCore theme had. I've used a snapshot of WebFlake's theme as an example.. I'd like to add the avatar directly where the red outline is, below: I know there are a few themes that have that feature built-in, but I can't imagine it takes more than a quick edit to globalTemplate. If anyone knows how to go about adding it, I'd be more than happy to share it as a tutorial and slap your name on it (crediting you). Thanks!
  4. Could just be 'test' themes.. I do it all the time, and allow users to provide random feedback if they happen to catch them before I turn off their visibility. Regardless, I don't want to derail the thread.
  5. Imperious' current theme (Cielo?) has their name right at the top.. maybe not in some fancy graphic, but it's there. The theme itself is a bit "in your face", but otherwise well done.
  6. I've done a good bit of searching on IPS, and haven't turned up any results. I'm willing to bet its an issue with the 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 versions, or possibly even a missed edit in nulled copies.
  7. Announcements should be at the forefront of that list.. I may be OCD, but most relevant links/information should always be at the top.

    Damn, almost cried

It has a lot of vulgarity.. a good reason for why its rated-R. Just be forewarned.
  9. I can verify that this is an issue with 3.4.x... haven't gotten around to looking (or asking) for a solution yet, so I'll be keeping tabs on this thread.

    Damn, almost cried

End of Watch has a nerve-racking ending.. definitely an emotional one.. likely not on the level of Dear John or any other romance flick.. but good enough.
  11. Got the images, and doing some tinkering.. I'll see what I can come up with. Thanks, J!
  12. Appreciate the response.. as it turns out, that was a horrible idea to try though.. adding a background image looks horrible.

    Hello this is weird

Last I knew, if you had something specific you were interested in that you're positive was available on FC, you could make a request for it and one of the Staff members can yank it from a backup database. Whether that still stands or not, I haven't a clue. You'll want to ask for *official* confirmation.
  14. I remember a tutorial being available on FC, but I haven't seen it re-posted here on WebFlake quite yet.. I'm looking to alter my entire forum background. Currently using IPB 3.4.2, with the Simplify 3.4.x skin. As shown below, I'd like to take the background image and have it display ONLY on the outside of the red lines (basically, I don't want it to display inside the main content area). I'd like to move it to the header area as well, but I'll get to that.. taking this one edit at a time. I've made the following edit to ipb_styles.css: body{position: relative;background: #000 url(My URL HERE) no-repeat;}
  15. This tutorial is a hard-coding method of something like the Sticky Message or Global Message hooks. It will display templates (pages) and messages to specific user groups (or prohibit them from displaying to specific groups).
  16. The password for the ACP should be the same as your forum account.. so why not use the Forgot Password option?
  17. Sanctuary is correct.. sometimes it takes 10-30 minutes for a favicon to take effect. I'd say it's a caching issue, but since you're not the only one experiencing it.. then it may just need time to display.
  18. Eh.. it looked as though maybe mod_rewrite wasn't enabled, but Para is likely right. Didn't even think about it because most hosts are fairly lax with mod_security. mr.. simply contact your host, relay the error to them, and ask them if it's at all possible to turn off mod_security temporarily to test if that's the issue, or at the very least, ask for a workaround.
  19. Open the .htaccess file (located in your forum root) and copy/paste its contents here in [ code ] tags.
  20. As I said above, it's either a mod_rewrite issue with your .htaccess file, or you attempted to change the encoding format on your forums. If it's not either of those, then your problem is a bit above my abilities.
  21. Well, on the upside for you Firefox users, it's still far better than IE. Chrome and Firefox have been on a whole new level for years, while IE continues to trudge along behind.
  22. I've stuck it out with Chrome, primarily for Inspect Element and the integration with Gmail and YouTube. It can be a memory hog at times, but nowhere near the level of Firefox..
  23. I'm sure you weren't suggesting that, I just meant that the OP should be careful about how he conducts himself elsewhere as a representative of his site. I've seen a lot of people beleaguer their site before it ever has a chance.
  24. Always good to see another donator. Welcome to WebFlake!
  25. Speechless. Precisely what I bet he wishes for in retrospect.
