Many changes have taken place in Webflake. Some I welcome, some not. Though in most of the forums, admins do not ask for votes from members on any change and Webflake is not exception. Anyway, one of the un-welcome change is making an account inactive. People have many burdens for which they might not access or post anything for several months. I have seen that some members did not come here or post here anything for several months, but there account had not been made 'INACTIVE'. I know, it is on admins' discretion whether or not to make an account inactive. I think I should give you, the admins, a suggestion, to implement a system of sending alert 7 days prior to account holder's whose account is going to be inactive. I don't think it would be a very big thing to be implemented. In this way, I think, members would be glad to see the concerns of the admins towards every member (because members are the blood of a forum) and they will become active rather than seeing a RED WARNING of being marked as INACTIVE. Being INACTIVE without having an alert, I think, there is a huge possibility of being hurt. Human sentiment is an unpredictable thing.

It is working beautifully. Though I need some plugins like Contact Form 7, Revolution Slider etc. to make this work completely. It would be better if this upload contained these 'must' required plugins. But, we are getting this for free. So we should appreciate and be happy about what we are getting. Thank you very much for this awesome share friend and you know I am one of your many fans.

I agree with Lara. My heart was broke, when I saw WebFlake was down. :( Now I know why after 5-6 mins, Cloudflare was resetting my login and forced me to solve the captcha to continue my session here. It also happened whenever I visit this site and I went into fight with my cable net provider on this issue. :P Thanks @Phun for solving the problem. :)

Hi Myth! Welcome to the world of WebFlake.

@leejay I totally agree with @Ragehost, but would like to give my opinion. Do not use any integrated money transfer apis. Use only offline transfer mode and in that mode give your bank account info. It would be much more safer if you send that info through your mail. For web hosting business, it should not be a problem.

@Kingy has said what you need to know. But tell me, what you will get out of your 'PAID SUBSCRIPTION' ?? I am telling what you will get: You will not be able to upgrade until & unless you pay IPS. You have to renew your license in every six months. If not, your license will expire and then your copy of IPB will be as good as an illegitimate software except you have an expired license (I don't know what good it will make :-/ ) If you want to upgrade, you have to pay what they will charge, moreover you have to pay for some apps which were part of the main application. So, in gist, they will suck your hard earned money like a blood sucker as long as you would use that 'licensed copy', whether you upgrade it or not. If you decide not to upgrade, then your forum will be vulnerable to attacks. In return of your money, what you will get? You will get some advice (support) for not to do this-n-that because it will revoke your license. How ridiculous. Now what you will get if you use nulled version ( I cannot guarantee other than WebFlake releases): You will get a latest IPB forum with all core apps installed. You can do whatever you want with your copy. You can even re-engineer the core files if you have that expertise. No one will prevent you. You will get much more support here than IPS. You will get all of these at FREE OF COST. O yah, you can obviously donate a little but that is up to you and not mandatory. Now you decide, which one is better.

Which version do you use? I have used all the version released in WebFlake starting from 3.4.9 and never had any issue. Because in most of the cases, uploaders null the versions by themselves and they do it for us, who always doesn't have money to pay for every little single bit of IPB. And these uploaders buy legit versions and then they null it by themselves. These coders do this out of sheer passion of helping people, not to take advantage of them or to steal their data. Once I experienced such an incident like you on a free server, but then I was using Joomla. After thorough search, I saw that they were inserting a javascript to do that. I delete entire thing and changed to a paid server. So, the problem was on the server, not in the script I was using. Yours might be a case like that. Yes. It is safe as long as you use the WebFlake versions. I use the 4.1.9 and it's superb.

Superb theme. Beautiful. Could give a 5 star, but could not give as there is no PSD files, only the .xml file. :( Update: The above comment was for the previous upload in which the .psd files and the font file were missing. But it was just a mistake and upon informed, the uploader, @gold fish updated this file and friends, I can assure you that this is an original purchased file as I scorched the net and could not find this updated version. And this theme is SUPERB. Please don't use it as I have used it in my forum. Just joking. Never mind. If it would be possible, I would change the 3 stars to 5 stars. @gold fish Here are your 5 stars friend... *****

You are welcome. Please send a message to any moderator to close this topic if you think you problem is resolved. :) BTW, I have just tested 'Invite System 2.0.4' with IPB 4.1.9 and it worked flawlessly. Superb application. Thanks to the uploader. ^_^

Go to phpmyadmin and enter the database. Click on the database name under 'Databases'. Find the table 'xyz_core_applications' where 'xyz' = table prefix. Click on that table and you will find all the applications you installed. Find 'Invite' under 'app_directory' column and delete that row. Then using FTP delete the 'invite' folder inside 'applications' from your server. This should fix your problem.

@ffddnn I think you did not install the plugin properly. There are two parts of installation of this particular plugin. When you opened the zip file, you should get the plugin named '(BIM40) Topic Thumbnail 1.0.5' file and an 'UPLOAD' folder. There you should see several folders and when you will go through those folders, at last you will see another file named 'Topic Thumbnail'. First you have to upload the 2nd file I mentioned here according to the structure of the folders (/applications/forums/extensions/core/FileStorage). Then you have to upload the plugin from inside the ACP and install it. It should work fine. But, you should use the latest plugin, in case of this, this one : I am using this and working flawlessly.

Superbly working. Thanks @RoSiCkY. and you got 5 star now. Happy? @rockafeller If you need an updated version from the same uploader, why did you give 2 star without giving an explanation? You stabbed someone without reason and asked that person's help at the same time? What type of creature you are? Are you a human being? >_<

Repair the database from inside your cPanel. You can install it again and if it gives this error again, again repair the database and it will be fixed.

@raziel This is the Google adsense code, made by Google. Now, please don't ask what the 'Adsense' is. Google it. :P Answer for your primary question. 'Adblock' is a browser plugin (which you have installed in your Firefox browser, knowingly or unknowingly ... :-/) which blocks ads at the time of visiting any site which uses ad, so that the surfer can surf the web more peacefully without getting annoyed by annoying ads. There is a plugin, which detects whether your browser uses any adblocker or not. If it detects an adblocker, it requests you to disable the plugin because through ads they get some money ( or they hope to get some money) to incur a portion of their expenses. Basically, the site's like WebFlake run out of the pocket money of the founder/ founder members, because they believe in "eating home, running behind wild buffalo". (Though always these crazy, mad people ad some value to the society.... ) So, in hope of getting some money which can meet up a portion of the expense of running such a huge site (though it never happens ), they install Google adsense. Now, it is clear?

Welcome back to WebFlake. :)

First go to ACP. Then click on the down arrow on the right side of the '_app_forums' and uninstall it. Then re-upload using FTP. Don't use 'http' transfer, because files might get corrupt. After finish, go to ACP and see what it shows in the place of '_app_forums' which you uninstalled. It should now show as 'forums' correctly. If it does, install it again by clicking on the '+' button on the right side of it. If it shows as earlier, I think you have to do a fresh install. But before doing a fresh install, take a backup of entire database of your forum. I will tell you the rest if you have to do a fresh install. Note: Do not forget to logout before re-upload.

I think files have not been uploaded successfully. This happens in general, if the uploading got interrupted. Re-upload again and then try to upgrade again. Let us know the result.
