Alright found relative_dates_enable on forums_core_sys_conf_settings through phpmyadmin which should be set to 1 instead of 0. Not sure if there's supposed to be something on the admin panel but I couldn't find it.

Hi, upgraded to 4.6 and now the dates on all my forums look ugly "June 24, 2021 at 08:52 PM"... but it changed on its own at some point after I upgraded. I have another upgrade and it is using relative dates. I saw on the release notes for the new version that there's a way to turn off relative dates but I cannot find anything on the admin panel or any information.. I also edited the date formats on the languages but it seems to not be using relative dates at all. Any help? thank you

This still doesn't work on the newer IPS upgrade from this site... Facebook released a new API in October 2020 and I guess that's the culprit. It's an issue caused by the Advanced Status Updates plugin, it allows people to reply to posts on the widget itself like on the old IPB software. That feature is really useful because it allows users to engage with content easier, not sure why Invision removed it. So my only option is to live with the error or live with the default status updates widget...

Hi, so embeded youtube videos aren't working on profiles, but they show up normally on the homepage. So recently when users paste a link from Facebook and Instagram they don't automatically embed and instead an error saying "The link could not be embedded because an error occurred on www.instagram.com." appears... did FB and IG change something??? will it be fixed if I update the IPB software? I haven't changed anything about the software before the error started appearing. Thank you

I have a troll that won't go away on my forum and the word filter doesn't work on private messages.... is there a way to change this, any plug-ins or anything? any setting I'm missing?

Sorry, the answer was in the topic template itself, since there is a navigation link at the bottom. The answer is to use "<a href="{$topic->container()->url()}" title="{lang="go_to_forum" sprintf="$topic->container()->metaTitle()"}" rel="parent">" for whatever back button you want to create.

Hi guys, I'm looking to replace the navigation breadcrumbs as I feel visually it clutters the page and it is a bit old-fashioned. I would just like to have a back button on the topics. But I'm not sure how to make a link that will take users to the subforum where the topic is posted. I hope I'm explaining correctly what I'm trying to do. Basically I just wanna insert a link in topics that will take to the parent forum it is in and call it a "back button". Not sure which php code I would have to use in the href for the forum to render it as a link to the correct parent forum for each thread. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ?

I'm in 4.4.3 and there's a problem with the raffle system (https://webflake.sx/files/file/5307-raffles-system/ I have an expired giveaway without automatic winners but the dashboard block to pick the winners is not telling me that I have to pick winners manually. It just shows as expired. Did I do something wrong or it just doesn't work? Thank you.

This plugin still interferes with lazy load in 4.4.3 when there are embeds posted on the status updates, leaving menus unusable.

Well, I managed to fix it after being really desperate.... Here's the solution in case it happens to anyone else: if you have access to your server root via ssh, login and delete the tmd file for the table with the problem, in my case I did it like: rm /var/lib/mysql/*DBNAME*/forums_core_search_index.tmd Now on phpmyadmin, I selected the table and at the bottom I clicked the repair button and it was fixed without errors. The problem was that phpmyadmin didn't want to overwrite the temporary file. Now everything seems to be fixed!

I upgraded to 4.4.2 and it's still happening. The weird thing is that it only happens to regular users, I have tested with the a test account and changing the group changes the behavior, if it's an admin or moderator the error does not happen, but I don't know why. I don't get any errors when I check the page with the inspector either way. It seems to be a bug with lazy load. I turned it off and rebuilt the content and the problem is gone. But why only on some user groups?

i'm on IPS 4.4.2. There seems to be a problem that wasn't happening until today (I recently upgraded to 4.4.0, and now to 4.4.2 to try to fix this problem), I noticed I couldn't click on any button from the menus like my username to get the drop down menu on the home page. So I disabled my widgets and things went back to normal when I disabled Advanced Status Updates 1.0.5 I tested and everything is fine as long as "enable rich text" is turned off. I'm on 4.4.0 that I got from this site. When users react to a post, the images and youtube videos, disappear. It's just an empty space, it only comes back if they refresh the page. The src of the images changes to forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Thanks, the only thing that's missing is the link to the profile and the hover card but I guess that's more difficult to edit.

Someone told me you can't use the default Giphy that's included in IPS4.4 with Chatbox, is that true? Does anyone have the separate plugin they can send? I haven't been able to find a nulled version.

I have it installed but its like ChatBox doesn't see it's installed.

Hi, I don't know if you provide support for IPS 4.4 but I can't get Chatbox. 4.0.0 downloaded from this site, to work with Giphy that comes with IPS 4.4.0. I have Giphy set up properly with an API Key and it works fine on posts but when I try to enable it on chatbox it shows "Sorry, you do not have permission for that! 2BIMCB106/1 Make sure you have installed GIPHY plugin"..... Does someone know why this is? or a solution? Thank you.

I like making dark themes and light themes, then people can chose whatever they prefer, and sometimes I want a lighter theme sometimes darker.
