  1. How much time would be involved? And about how many days a week? I only ask because I am a single full time father of a 6 year old boy. And I also run my own website. I have a legit license vbulletin forum. And my site is also about gaming, well it's more about everything PC tech/gaming related. But I used to run one of the biggest xbox 360 modding/ISO downloads site's on the web. It was called digitalbrass.com . So I have a lot of experience with all things xbox.
  2. If 4.0 looks as good as it performs, I might just renew my IPB License. But until then, I'll stick with my lifetime VB license and my custom skin. Thanks for the info though OP!
  3. I have an Intel i7 3770K in my rig at the moment, and an i7 4770K In my son's rig. And I have a spare i7 Extreme series CPU somewhere, I forget the exact model though. Intel may be expensive, but you always get what you pay for. In my honest opinion, Intel CPUS are beast. They run everything I threw at them, stable.
  4. I use mysqldump. Mysqldump is a lot more efficient then phpmyadmin and cpanel. It's also a lot faster and safer. The only drawback is, mysqldump doesn't have a login system, so you have to password protect the mysqldump directory or/and use .htaccess to secure it. But either way Mysqldump is the way to go for importing and exporting mysql databases.
  5. What exactly are you trying to do? We need a bit more info.
  6. I have a custom Vbulletin Skin, and I want to move the Skin Image Directory Outside the root directory, so its not directly accessible if someone clicks "Copy Image Location", or tries to rip my Skin images. I am trying to figure out a way so no one can Rip my custom Skin. I want to put my Style Image Directory outside of my Website directory. Example: I want to move the directory from: "c:siteswww.example.comimagescustomstyle" to "c:sitescustomstyle" Is there anyway to do this?
  7. To get the PSD coded into a IPB Skin will cost. The cheapest I seen to get a PSD converted to IPB skin is about $130, and up. And the selling price for the skin depends on if your "Only" going to be selling it to one person as a Custom Skin", or putting it up for sale so anyone can buy it and download it.
  8. Every time I try to create a search engine for my site, that site says my site redirects to another domain. Which is impossible, unless that site is on a spam list or something like that, because I have a bunch of spam addons installed on my VB Board.
  9. Me personally, I like vbulletin 4.x.x. but since your not even considering vbulletin, I won't go into detail about vbulletin. I never used Xenforo, but I do know Xenforo was founded by 3 Ex vbulletin employees. But I don't know much about it. I do know much about IPB, and I really don't like it much. The Back-End is pretty much my biggest problem with IPB. If you do go with IPB, buy a legit IPB License. If not, you will be sorry. Running a serious forum on nulled software is just problems waiting to happen. It really comes down to your needs, and your taste. You can always just install nulled versions at first just to test the software. Then if your serious about running a forum, and you like the software, you can buy a legit license.
  10. I'm not rich, its called "Investing". As for games go, I don't do console gaming. I built a custom gaming PC for that.
  11. The only reason I spent that much is because I got EdenWebs to make it. And it included the forum icons to match too. And EdenWebs did a great job with my skin, it was worth every penny. I almost finished my site, but you can check it out here: https://thetechgenius.net
  12. This Skin has been made by Phun, I think he made it from scratch. The only way you will get this Skin, is if Phun gives it to you personally. lol. And I really don't thinik that will happen. Its a lot of work to create a custom Skin for a forum, if Phun would give it up, then the skin would no longer be "One of a Kind". Same thing goes for my custom skin, I paid over $500 to get a custom skin made for my forum, and I will never give it to anyone, just because my skin is "One of a Kind". A custom skin makes a forum Unique.
  13. I like it, I really do. However, I would remove the background glow from the Navbar Tabs, not the glow when you mouse hover, the background shadow. And the main skin background I think is to much. I think its to much of that color/design. To fix that issue, you could keep that design and make the colors a bit darker, so the forums stand out more. And the login page needs some more work, it needs a block and background around the login box. Thats all I see that is really wrong with it, I might have missed a few little things here and there, but those are the major things IMO. Please don't take this personal, I am just giving my advice based on my experience. I don't know why, but your skin reminds me of my custom VB Skin that I payed to get made just for my forum. I guess its because they are both based around Tech/Gaming. Check out my VB Forum: https://thetechgenius.net Its not 100% finished yet, but its close.
  14. I'll do that now Phun. EDIT: I sent you a PM Phun.
  15. Does anyone need Impex for vbulletin? Impex is used to convert your current forum database to vbulletin. And it's only available to vbulletin license holder's. I could upload a copy if anyone needs it. However, I'm not sure if it needs to be nulled or not. Can anyone confirm this? If it does need to be nulled, I will send a copy to a trusted user if he or she wants to try and null it. I say trusted person because I don't know if it has my License number in the files or not, I don't want to take a chance of it not being nulled properly, and vbulletin suspending my license. If it doesn't need to be nulled, I'll upload impex right away. I never needed to use impex so I don't know .
  16. I'm not with a Web hosting company. I'm running my site on my own home dedicated server. X2 Xeon quad core CPUs, 32gb RAM, PCI-E RAID Controller, 1tb SSD Storage, Gbit Nic, and it's running on its own dedicated IP, with a legit SSL Certificate.
  17. Yeah if I remove the Vbulletin copyright. But not if I remove the copyright from a 3rd party addon, that has nothing to do with vbulletin as a company.
  18. That's exactly what I was thinking. I really don't want to risk it. I might just use to Lite versions, and remove the copyright from the addons. And since they are not made by vbulletin, the makers of the addons will only come after me about the copyright. They won't be able to do anything though, because I host my own site. Lol. Its a lot better then having vbulletin come after you.
  19. I have a lifetime Vbulletin License that never expires, I bought it back when VB was offering Lifetime Licenses. Do you think it's a good idea to use Nulled Addons with a legit vbulletin? I am asking this, because some addons such as vboptimize , are over $100 for the pro version. And most Addons by dragonbyte have lite versions and pro versions, which also cost a lot of money, and the lite versions leave copyright text at the bottom of the forum, which makes no sense. I refuse to pay $100+ for each of these Addons after paying $500 for a lifetime VB license, and another $450+ For a custom VB Style for my forum. However, I don't want to get my license suspended, for using nulled Addons. Even though the Addons are NOT made by Vbulletin. What you guys think I should do? Note: Don't mind the typos, I'm typing on an iPad. Damn auto correct. Lol
  20. Do you have root access to your server? If so, you can install Zend and have it load up with PHP.
  21. I would buy an SSL Certificate and install it on your server to use with your site. So you and your members will be safe from hackers trying to steal your members personal information.
  22. Its because Google cannot find any content to index. You shouldn't be setting your forum to private until you get active users that post on a daily basis. Never set new websites/forums to private in the beginning. It will damage your search engine rankings. Also make sure there is a "robots.txt" file in your forum root.
  23. Just signup for a gmail email account, and use their SMTP Server to send emails from your board. http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/documentation/index.html/_/knowledge-base/recurring-non-version-specific-issues/smtp-via-gmail-r200 This is so your server won't be sending emails from your email server, the forum will use Gmail SMTP server to send and receive emails. You NEED to signup for a Gmail Email though, thats the only way you can use their SMTP Server. I had to do this for my home server, because my ISP blocks the SMTP outgoing port. So I setup my IP.Board to use google's SMTP server. And it works. After you set it up, you can use your IP.Board to send you a test email, just to see if its working. If you need any more help configuring your Email via IP.Board using GMAIL, let me know and I will help you the best way I can.
  24. If you want the most performance for your money, then get a Desktop. Actually, you should build it yourself. Laptops can only be so powerful, and they are no match for a desktop. A GTX 680M mobile graphics card, is NOT the same thing as a GTX 680 for a desktop. Desktop graphics cards are so much more powerful then laptop cards. And you can overclock desktop GPU's and CPUs to what ever they can handle depending on the Cooling and Hardware you are using. Laptops cannot be overclocked much, you wont even see any noticeable performance gains if you overclock a laptop. This is because Laptops don't have good cooling and airflow, and you cannot install aftermarket coolers. Overclocking itself doesn't make the CPU/GPU get hotter, its the Voltage you have to increase to make the overclock stable, thats why you need a decent cooler. If you want the most performance for your money, build a gaming desktop yourself. I don't where your from, but you can buy all the parts you need from Newegg.com (if you in the USA).
  25. Its fine. Tapatalk doesn't care one bit if you install it on a nulled forum. Yeah they might tell you to install it on a legit forum for security reasons. But TapaTalk doesn't get paid to contact IP.Board for nulled versions. They get paid by the users using their software, nulled or legit. They dont care at all. I actually had tapatalk installed on MANY nulled forums, they havent said anything to me. I have even bought the TapaTalk package that lets you customize the TapaTalk mobile APP to match your forum, and they didnt mention anything to me about using a nulled forum software.
