  1. Welcome to webflake! Hope you enjoy your stay. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Also, just a word of advice, steer clear of @Phun - the cat might look cute, but dayummmm that little bugger has claws. As well as that, please do not feed @Erza - she's on a strict diet of the souls of spammers. Enjoy your stay! :)
  2. You're looking for this :: http://webflake.sx/files/file/352-advanced-tags-prefixes/ your span style will add the colour etc that you're looking for :)
  3. Could you please elaborate on exactly what it is you are after please? :)

  6. Is Vanilla free? o.O Thanks for the suggestions though everyone, I'll get back to him about them all. For now, I would guess we're sticking with Mybb unless I can confince the bugger to move to a ... Totally, legit *ahem* copy of IPB.
  7. An excellent question, I should have said why, sorry. in short, because my friend would like a software that it a little less used, and thus a little bit more "unique" but I don't think he'll be getting much for free to be honest. I'll report back to him and see what he says. thanks for everyone's support.
  8. SMF huh? ... How in gods name did I miss that one... Can't believe I forgot SMF. thanks bud, I'll get back to my mate with the suggestion. :)
  9. Hey Flakes! Need a little hand here, trying to move a friend of mine away from Mybb to another forum software. We're looking for something free and open source. Both of us love the look of NodeBB but sadly it's not viable on his hosting plan (shared webhosting) - I was therefore wondering if anyone could recommend decent software for us please? He doesn't want anything nulled. Preferably, requirements would include: Coins / points system.Awards system.Sidebars (preferably)Decent themes, preferably responsive if possible.Extensive module / plugin system. Thanks in advance for all the help.
  10. Please learn to search... You'll find a post by @Phun that explains:
  11. Been a while since I used 3.x - looks like they changed the settings around a little. After looking back on your error, I believe that Suhosin is your issue. suhosin.post.max_value_length suhosin.request.max_value_length Increase these two values to 1 million, or ask your host to do so if you can't - This may seem high, but it's really not. Off the top of my head, this is what IPBoards 3.x usually wants to use anyway. That fixed it for me back in the day, IPBoards made an official announcement about it but it seems that they removed the announcement after the IPS4.0 update, so I can't link you to it anymore ;(
  12. ACP > 'system' > Tools / Settings > 'performance' > CPU Saving > Scroll down to "Reducing HTML output" , set 'Minify javascript?' = NO View your board index again, press CTRL + F5 to force a hard refresh. You may also want to recache your skins afterwards: Look / Feel > Template Tools > 'Recache Skin Sets'
  13. you just installed a theme or something with horizontal userinfo set as default from what it seems, just change it to a Vertical and you're good.
  14. Very, Very nice. Looks like a lot of effort went into the theme!

    MyISAM vs InnoDB

    Any news, @vertigo ? I'm intrigued.
  16. Your image needs to be wider, that's all that is :)
  17. Your image should be horizontal not vertical - surely?
  18. I wouldn't recommend it, (as mentioned here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4869154/how-to-detect-adblock-on-my-website) The link mentions:
  19. Personally I use the option available here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4869154/how-to-detect-adblock-on-my-website ads.js var canRunAds = true; Code on page: <code><html> <head> <script src="/js/ads.js"></script> </head> <body> <script> if( window.canRunAds === undefined ){ // adblocker detected, show fallback showFallbackImage(); } </script> </body> </html> Not entirely sure if it'd work for IPBoards tbh with you though, I usually use this for my HTML pages. As for IPBoards, I know that 3.x has plugins for it, but you've not mentioned if you're using 3.x or 4.0? @Daniel Farr
  20. Your IPBoards license contains call-back functions that reports usage back to Invision Power, it's highly likely that they could find out. Whether or not they'd be too arsed would depend on your site size, but they do reserve the rights to null and void your license. If they find that you're using or endorsing nulled copies of their software.
