    What a story about your gaming history - glad to hear that you also enjoy IP.Board, hahaha. Welcome aboard!

  4. This is a plain IPB installation on an NGiNX + PHP5-fpm + XtraDB (virtual) server, with full CloudFlare optimizations. First test load time was around 1.3s - all tests afterwards (now the caching cuts down on load time like crazy!) were way under 1s.

  7. Maybe you can post a more detailed description of your webpage without giving away the link entirely. This way you'll attract the right kind of interest and you'll have the added bonus of not having to accept everyone on your skype if they're not interested in your project after you tell them what it is.

  16. Have you tried installing it? It might still work on 3.4.x because as far as i know nothing dramatically changed.
  17. Hello there, hope you find the tools and resources you need!
  18. I suppose the only true way would be to not send mail from your server but from an email service like mandrill. This will come with a low fee but keeps your IP hidden since it's completely seperate from your own site. Perhaps another way could be, and i'm only suggesting here, to set up an smtp service on another low end machine and send mail via there if you set it up as a mail server. However, the fees are really low: https://www.mandrill.com/pricing/

    Question Inactive member

    I've adjusted the inactivy settings a little bit to be a little milder. And the deletion setting has been set to be way milder. This gives you a bigger window of opportunity to post and retain your active status.
  20. In your CSS there's this block: html, body, .maintitle, .popupInner h3 { background: #323232 url(http://www.ls-nextgeneration.com/public/style_images/sylo/backgroundpink.png ) repeat; } If you want it to not scroll and stick to your screen, replace that block with this: html, body, .maintitle, .popupInner h3 { background: #323232 url(http://www.ls-nextgeneration.com/public/style_images/sylo/backgroundpink.png ) repeat; background-attachment: fixed; } If you want it to scroll but not repeat, replace that block with this: html, body, .maintitle, .popupInner h3 { background: #323232 url(http://www.ls-nextgeneration.com/public/style_images/sylo/backgroundpink.png ) no-repeat; }

  22. So where do you want the picture to be in the article listings? The right seems like a good place since it takes up the least space while still being a picture that can represent the content of your post. If you center it above your text it will take up a lot more space on that page. The site you linked just has that article image you talked about just in a different place, above the article body, but they also use a different style of displaying their articles.
  23. Your branding is fine but the reason you dont see the blue gradient stretch is because the background is an image of a set height, so the image is 64 pixels high, if your logo is any bigger than that, the background image won't stretch, it will just stop where it stops at 64px and the rest will be filled by the background color (dark blue) as you can see.
