IP Content Error

Guest frostbite

Question

Guest frostbite

Hi, I recently made an attempt to access ipcontent outside my site, at which I failed and got an error, so I tried to revert things, and removed the index.php from my root directory, and in IP Content's advanced settings made the "URL to index.php" area blank again.

Now when I try to access the Pages tab, I get "

Sorry, we could not locate the page you are requesting to view. Please click here to return to the community index".

Next what I did was reinstall Ipcontent hoping that'd fix it. But the error still continues.

My forum is on a subdomain. And when I try forums.mysitename.com/index.php?idx=ccs. It opens my homepage only. What I'm talking bout is that earlier, all my IP content pages were available at a pages tab in the navigation. When I click the pages tab now, the url to which is forums.mysitename.com/page/ I get the error mentioned above. Whereas earlier it opened forums.mysitename.com/page/index.html for me. The index.html still exists but it still can't seem to read it.

Does this have something to do with initdata.php?

The forum is : forums.teenadda.com (without www).

Did you uploaded the .httacces file provided (mod_rewrite) when you made the changes tot make ip.content index.php in root folder and the forums in different folder (/page/ is removed after this change)?

If you have made a backup of the old .httacces file put that one back.

I didn't change the htaccess file.

EDIT : This has been resolved. Please close the thread.
