IP.Portal Question

How can I make it so that IP.Portal only reads threads from a certain category/forum

here is my website (may be offline sometimes) http://www.fusiongamers.org in the forums section I want the threads to appear from Community News.

 

Is there any way to do it? Or any other app that can do it, please be detailed in answer im kinda a newb here

Admin CP under Other Apps -> Content -> Blocks. Click the button to create a new block, choose the "Feed Block" type on step 1, then "Forums" on step 2, give the block a title on step 3 such as "Forum News". On step 4, choose the forum that the articles are being imported to and then set any other options as needed.At this point you should have the articles being created as topics on your forum and an IP.Content block that's pulling the topics from the forum so the last step is to add the block to your page. You can do this in your Admin CP under Other Apps -> Content -> Page Manager. Edit the page that you want to add the block to (the homepage by default is "index.html") and then find your block on the list on the right and click the + button to add it to your page. You can move it around to display it in a different spot if needed.
