Logo question for Animate skin

Hallo

i would like to know how can i completely remove the banner animate skin has so i can put aomething else.

I want to sompletely remove it and not just change it,i do not want the moving effect in the new picture i will add

What skin are you using? And can you provide screenshots on what you mean by animated banner skin?

 

He's referring to the Animate skin (although, ironically, the header is animated).

Are you looking to remove the image, the animation, or both?

 

You could simply look for it in ipb_styles and replace it with a URL to an image of your choosing.

The image i want to put i do not want to be animated.

To remove the animation, check out To change the image, replace the banner_bg.png file in the image directory (might be a .jpg, I can't remember).

well its a jpg file and i would like to make it png...so where do i change that?

Look for it in ipb_styles.css (should be the #branding ID), just change the background URL to a .png, upload your .png, and you're good.
