IP.Nexus & SSL Certificates

Despite what I currently know about IPB, I haven't had much opportunity to work with IP.Nexus. Before I get a bunch of "read this" replies, I'm well aware of what it is, what it does, and how to use it. My question is in regards to whether there is a necessity to use an SSL Certificate or not.

 

Various payment gateways (i.e. PayPal), require that I have https enabled in order to use them, but I currently have no interest in purchasing a UCC SSL Certificate that's going to run me somewhere around $90. Will IP.Nexus continue to function and accept payment without an SSL Certificate attached to my domain, or no?

yes you will still get payments through IP Nexus without SSL Certificate, So you should be fine as i have IP Nexus on my board and i have received multiple payment from it and i am not SSL Certified

Appreciate the response bud. I plan on nabbing a certificate in the near future, but only after my host offers a 'sale' on them.
