Shoutbox Tab Problem

Is there any way i can hide the shoutbox tab in the nav bar because i have a unusual problem where when i save the changes in tab restriction it redirects me back to my homepage of my site

 

 

P.S i am not giving out any admin details etc... because the last person messed up my site

I think he or she is saying the page redirects to home when they try to do it that way.  Not sure why it would though, maybe something in .htaccess?

 

You should be able to hide it with phpmyadmin in core_applications.

About your problem. Does it only happens there, or also on other settings?

yes it happens on some of the other apps as well
