IP.Board 3.3.4 to 3.4.4

hello guys,

 

i want to know how to upgrate  IP.Board 3.3.4 to  3.4.4 with the old datas in  IP.Board 3.3.4 ... i want the every thing in old forum to new version of ipb..i am using NULL one and want to use IP.Board 3.4.4 NULL too... :D

All you do is copy everything apart from the conf_global.dist.php from your new update 3.4.4 "upload" folder and then

paste it all into your older forums folder which is now 3.3.4 as you say. Over right if it asks should it over right. Then once its 

complete, sign into the ACP and it will automatically show there is an upgrade available which you need to do before doing 

anything else, it wont let you do anything else otherwise. Upgrade and let it go through the process and then your all good.

 

Test it FIRST on a test site or your local host to make sure everything works well in the first place.

Your welcome, just remember that ALWAYS before you put anything on your live site, check it firstly on a test site or local host.

And when I say test, lol dont make the same mistake I made when I first started out. Check everything works first like such things as

the editor and posting etc, I once had problems making a live update without testing and had to do a rollback - Nightmare situation trust me :D
