The problem I am having is every 2 days the server shuts down and to get it up is by restarting it from the WHM or from the Management CP. Here are the details of my VPS server: Hosting: VPS server with cPanel & WHM Server OS: Centos-5.8 Bandwidth: 500GB Disk space: 30GB Memory: 1.5GB Number of IPs: 1 Price: USD $162 per year So, tell me what do you think of my VPS server, and do you have any idea or suggestion on how can i keep my server from shutting down..Also, I am running an IPB forum with over 2,000 genuine members and as the number of new members increases my server decreases in speed I would love to know the server of webflake is it VPS or Dedicated and how much is it? This can be the problem. currently I am using 1386 with 149 free and no swap used. what processor does it has? 1 core? dual core? quad core? or 8 core's like my dedicated server I asked my hosting provider on a live chat and this is why they told me about the processor: Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2630 0 @ 2.30GHz the system has 24 cores. I asked my hosting provider on a live chat and this is why they told me about the processor: Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2630 0 @ 2.30GHz the system has 24 cores. 24 cores? the lie the Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2630 0 @ 2.30GHz only has 6 cores look here : http://ark.intel.com/products/64593/ so if the lie about the cores then the probable lie also about your RAM. i think that the RAM is not dedicated but shared with other vps servers on the same machine. get your money back and search a real host not some 14 year old kid's company that is doing it just for fun and get just your money. just get a dedicated server like mine: 2x Intel® Xeon® CPU E3-1225 V2 @ 3.20GHz (4 cores each cpu so in total 8) 64GB RAM 1333 GH.z 2x 3TB RAID 1 2x 120GB SSD RAID 0 (boot/main systems only, no data) 10 Gbps Lossless Internet Connection (in/out) Brandwith No Limit IP,s 260 that for 387.00 euro per month, for a real host Edited April 14, 2013 by svencom Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
