Custom Group Icons

I am wanting to put an image before each group and have it show in the Profile, Topic View, well everywhere to be honest.

But what I am unsure on is what size should these images be as to not make any issues with sizes of the usernames etc. I would want it to fit in perfectly size wise. Does anyone happen to know what size I would need these icons to be? I know there are tutorials on how to add them, that is not the issue, just the size of the image.

Images should be 20 x 20 and should include a padding-bottom of 2 pixels.

In order for the image to align with your usergroup or member name.
