Installing IPS 4

Hello there...

 

I am trying to get an IPS 4.2 website, and I don't really know what I'm doing, I had a buddy who helped me in the past but he's in college now and can't really help. 

 

 

If anyone has a tutorial or something to help that would be great. I need help specifically making the website, like getting the files in the right place to start the installation, as well as the MySQL setup.

Erm first download IPS 4.2.8

 

Now upload all the files to your website.

Go to cpanel or what ever other panel you are using go to MYSQL DB as seen here

CREATE NEW SQL DB THERE AS SEEN HERE 

NOW SCROLL DOWN IN SAME LOCATION AND CREATE SQL USER AS SEEN HERE.

 

NOW ADD THE USER TO DB STILL IS SAME LOCATION 

 

NOW YOU WILL GET THIS SCREEN 

 

Make sure user has all privileges as seen above 

 

NOW go to your website domain and you will get installation screen and just follow it as it says and script will do all the rest
