Need help modifying theme.

I'm considering buying this for my forum. However, is there any chance on removing the "Change Background" images into dark ones, then change the font text into white? since i tried inspecting element into a dark background.. It was hard to read the text as you can see:

You can't read Downloads also theres this blur image that need to be changed, i can pay a few bucks to help me out fixing the theme so it looks darker.
