Topics problem

I encountered a problem, when i look at topics in subforum, they are not aranged normaly (locked topics at the bottom and opened topics at top .. ) they are aranged by last update .. i cannot manage to fix this from acp(forum postable setings and system topics,post setings)

 

Can someone help me ? please

Locking a thread won't make it "move" in the topic list. i.e. you lock Thread A.. then respond to Thread B... Thread B will now be above Thread A. Simply locking Thread A won't make it drop to the bottom of the topic list.

 

It's 5am, so I may not be understanding you properly? Even my wife had the same impression.

Are you sure this isn't hook related? I'm fairly certain there is a hook that does this intentionally.

Good point, i will check that out right now... i will come back with update

 

 

EDIT: No change.. i disabled all hooks and removed all applications, and i still have this problem ..

Is that the snapshot you intended to share? Because that one is perfectly normal.. the Ø denotes closed threads, and they're both listed at the top. I can see that their 'started' times are AFTER the unlocked thread, but that's normal as well (locked topics can be bumped if you use the BBCode hook.

So, if i unlock those 2 threads, they stay exactly where they are now, if i lock them, no change in position, that is annoing me..... locked threads must go at the bottom of the threads page.. i have ipb vor almost an year and it always been that way, unlocked threads on top(positioned by update) and locked threads at the bottom of the page, under the unlocked ones (also ordered by update) ... so i am a little dispered here ...  i do not wish to reinstall my forum

So the locked threads are basically staying pinned? Trying to gather as much info on this to be able to provide a better answer.. because right now, it looks perfectly normal.

So, i created those threads, in that pic, you will see them in an order, that is the order of creation, the top one is the last, when i lock them, they remain on their position, if i have a 10 thread list and i lock the one in the top, that thread is remaining on top locked, if i lock the middle one, that thread is remaining there, usualy untill now locked threads moved at the bottom of unlocked threads ..... understand me now?

My problem is an setting, that makes them not update position when i lock/unlock them, and i tryed anything i knew and what you said earlyer ..
