I get this very strange bug?

Anyone got a fix to this?

because the rar is not set up as a valid mime type.

yes this is more than likely that you've uploaded a .rar file, which in this case follow these steps below,
Admin CP > Other Apps > IP.Downloads > Mime Types > Add a New Mime Type,

• File Extension - rar
• Mime-Type - application/x-rar-compressed
• Allow this Mime-Type for files? - Yes
• Allow this Mime-Type for screenshots? - No
• Show file inline? - No
• Mime-Type Mini-Image - mime_types/rar.gif

Save this image below as rar.gif

Then open FTP /public_html/public/style_extra/mime_types, upload the image above once saved it as rar.gif upload to that destination

If you have not added any new hooks that may have caused it then go to admin panel

Look & Feel  >  Template Tools

check all these boxes on both sides then click rebuild

Rebuild Master Skin Data

Then at the top click recache skin sets for all

Recache Skin Sets   all skins sets

Fixed this issue, now I get this error "You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file" It is Winrar.
