Importing old forum to a newly created one

You need to create either a Full website backup, or individual backup's of the Home Directory, and the SQL Database (This can be done via cPanel).

 

Then you need to go on your new cPanel, and go to the backups. Then go to restore, and upload the files you downloaded.

OK so i coppied all files from homedir folder to my public_html folder :

Now when i try to open the forum, it says :

Now we have to import the SQL in Cpanel/PHPMyAdmin/Choose datebase/Import/Choose file :

did you change your sql database name,sql user or passwords.if you did go into ftp,open the conf_global.php and change this to make what you are using now$INFO['sql_host'] = 'localhost';$INFO['sql_database'] = 'database name';$INFO['sql_user'] = 'user name';$INFO['sql_pass'] = 'password';if you havent set up a new user or password,i would open this file first and just use the old name and password.
