in your admin cp,go to look and feel - manage skin sets and templates - skin name open ips_styles.css and find #branding (adjust the height to match the height of your logo,the black box will disappear.the primary nav will not be centers anymore so if you want to center thisin ips_styles.css find #primary_nav (you will need to adjust the margin-top: 28px; to make it center.

then you did the database import wrong,you need to make a blank database with the same name,click on the blank database then do a import,had the same problem before and thats how i clear it out.ill put a tutorial up on how to import a database without shh
