I have noticed that in the IPS Support it is still only displaying 4.2 and 4.3 as an option as software support. Are you going to be adding 4.4 to this list as a lot of people have now upgraded to 4.4 already. Thanks

If you were given the option to go anywhere in the world where would you go and why? For myself, I live in Australia and would like to go to the USA and UK as I have friends online in both countries that I have known for a very long time and would like to meet up with them face to face. This tutorial will show you how to change the title of the Chatbox for your community. I am using version 4.4.0 of the Chatbox for 4.4. I am sure this would also work the same on previous version of the Chatbox and IPS. 1. Login to your ACP 2. Go to your theme and go to use the Search function under Templates and type in chatbox 3. Then go to bimchatbox -- front -- chat -- main 4. Search for <div>{lang="chatbox_title"}</div> and change that code to <div>ENTER NEW TITLE FOR YOUR CHATBOX HERE</div> 5. Save. And your done. Your Chatbox will now be called whatever you have put into the field above showing wherever you have your chatbox located Note: You could even do what I did and center the title. You could also use any other html code to change the color of the text etc. Just change the code to this: <div><center>ENTER NEW TITLE FOR YOUR CHATBOX HERE</center></div> Enjoy!

You always want to keep updated to the latest version of WP. Failing to keep updated to the latest version puts your site at possible risk. Why? Simple. Bug fixes and security.

It can't find your conf_global.php file in your main forum directory, Check that the file is in there. Also, is this an upgrade or a fresh install?

You just update as you normally would. Follow the following tutorial on upgrading correctly. Also don't forget to backup all your current files and database prior to upgrading.

Did you update your domain link information in the config file in your forum main directory?

You can upgrade straight to 4.4.1 but remember backup all current files and database first.

As I mentioned, I am usually the nulled version, so the support tool won't upgrade anyway, but I thought I would give it a go as the notice suggested. And I didn't ask if there was an update for Commerce, that is what the notice is informing me in the ACP. What I am wanting to find out is WF going to release the nulled or maintenance release for 4.3.6 for this issue.

There is so many sites out there. Now, don't get me wrong in what I am about to say, I am not saying your dumb, but these sites are usually pretty good. Do a google search on Website Coding for Dummies.

You can upload your old database and then edit your config file in your forum folder to your database information and it should show up fine as it was. You might also need to run the Support - Something isn't working to clear the cache also.

Upon just logging into my ACP I got a new notice that has not been seen before. I was wondering if you will be updating the nulled release maintenance issue for 4.3.6 as a result of this please. The notice states: Note: Running the support tool doesn't work for the nulled release. I did try that first.

What did you do prior to this error happening? Did you add any new apps, plugins, upgrade IPS etc. A bit more information might help us to help you.

Is this a fresh install or an upgrade? What version of IPS are you installing 4.3 or 4.4?

They are bumping the topic after only 4 hours cause no one is replying to help with their issue.

What do you mean by a 'soft delete'? Can you be a little more specific? If you are just talking about simply deleting a topic or post. Check the box and use the trash can icon that comes up at the bottom of the screen. Then the topic or post has been deleted.

You will notice that depending on the plugin or app and what they are used for some will and some won't. You will just need to go through and test them one by one or wait for the updated version of them. As this is a major release there have been a lot of changes so there are some like chatbox for example that need updating to work correctly.

That link when you go there and then click on IPS takes you to a site can't be reached page. So no information is available. Can you provide either a link to your site so we can see the theme or link to where the actual theme is located. Thanks.

Use the search feature. This has been asked and answered so many times now. Maybe read through the Site Questions area on this the forum where this is always asked.

Your theme is outdated. You need to get the latest copy of the theme for 4.4 or choose another theme. Also run the Support -- Something isn't working -- Continue from your ACP to see what errors it brings up, if any,
