  1. Did you just convert from phpBB? If so theres a thread and fix here http://community.invisionpower.com/topic/342992-template-error-during-conversion/ If not have you tried rebuilding and recaching your skins?
  2. You can use IP.Board.v3.4.2.UPDATED.PHP.NULL-DGT for either a fresh installation or an upgrade. Is that what you are asking?
  3. IPB 3.4.2 Patch is just a patch for earlier copies of IPB. IP.Board.v3.4.2.UPDATED.PHP.NULL-DGT already has the patch applied so is the only one you need to download.
  4. No you wont lose anything, it will just update the forum software. Make sure you take a database backup first anyway.
  5. Retail is better I suppose because its the latest version. Its just preference otherwise really, some people feel safer using nulled.
  6. It doesn't matter what your forum is now. Nulled just means its had all callbacks to IPS removed. If you are using an offshore host it probably doesn't matter whether you used nulled or retail.
  7. You upload everything then go to your forum and follow the onscreen instructions. You will have to rename the admin folder to 'adminmyforum' before you upload it (and any other folders you renamed).
  8. I can view the forums as a guest. Do you still have the duplicated tabs if you use a different skin? edit: Theres a fix here http://www.devfuse.com/forums/tutorials/article/114-33x-fix-forum-and-members-tabs-being-duplicated/ but its for 3.3 so it might not work with 3.4.
  9. What fixed it in the end?Maybe your other problems will sort theirselves out when you upgrade to 3.4.3
  10. Is it the same error in sql_error_latest.cgi? Try changing it again to $INFO['sql_tbl_prefix'] = 'db464996882.';If nothing changes set it back to how it was at the start. I'm not actually sure if db464996882. is your database prefix or not.edit: ignore my last post then, I didn't know why that was showing there.
  11. Try changing $INFO['sql_tbl_prefix'] = '';to$INFO['sql_tbl_prefix'] = 'db464996882';
  12. In conf_global.php is there anything where it says $INFO['sql_tbl_prefix'] = '';?
  13. If you look at your database in phpmyadmin does the table "cache_store" exist?
  14. What does it say in the sql_error_latest.cgi file? It will be in the cache folder of your ftp.
  15. Yes, right click on the folder and there will be an option to edit the permissions.
  16. It does sound like its using the default database like freeware said. If it was using your old database the welcome topic wouldn't even exist unless you kept it there on your old site for some reason. Not sure how it is if you deleted it and uploaded your own though.
  17. I don't know why they wouldn't be there then sorry You could try deleting the database and reuploading it?
  18. Have you checked the forum and category permissions?
  19. Right click on those files in your ftp and there will be an option to change the permissions to 777.
  20. I doubt it means much, a domain I have which isn't used is worth $4,326 according to that site.
  21. http://www.serverschool.com/dedicated-servers/what-is-php-safe-mode/
  22. It means your server has safe mode enabled. You'll have to ask your host to disable it, or disable it yourself if you are on a vps or dedicated server.
  23. Try adding $INFO['su_enabled'] = '0';to conf_global.php If that doesn't work I could upload this hook if you like? http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/5378-status-update-group-controls/
