  1. I use it on my several websites such as Rile5.pw which suffered over 100 hours of downtime. I don't know what i'd do without this.
  2. This is probably a problem with Mandrill and you probably exceeded their quota. I'd suggest you create a Google Mail account and use Google's SMTP servers to send/receive emails.
Works fine thanks, sorry for one star, was an accident and i'm unable to undo it now.
  3. Hi. Make sure to make a backup of your file system and database, then upload the 4.x files over 3.4.8 files. Head over to /admin/upgrade and follow instructions. As for your plugins and hooks, they will be removed as they are not compatible with the 4.x version.
  4. Hi. Recently, i have been experimenting with DDoS protected CDN's such as Cloudflare, Incapsula and other providers, however, none of them really offered me good layer 7 DDoS protection. However, after my friend founded this new company which runs on his servers, all DDoS attacks have been mitigated immediately. This tutorial will explain how you can get free DDoS protection from AthenaLayer.com and how to set it up. 1. First, go in your AdminCP (IPB 4.x.x), and go to Security Settings, then you need to select "Show AdminCP link to Administrators" and "Trust IP addresses provided by proxies", since the CDN changes your IP everytime it refreshes, it's necessary to select this. 2. Register for a free account in athenalayer.com, add your website and verify it, there are instructions in the control panel how to do so. 3. Add your website and wait for DNS to update, also make sure you don't have any "open" CNAMES or A records which connects directly to your server. And that's it, you're now DDoS protected from any sorts of attacks - here's my site so you can see the preview. If you'd like DDoS protected host, then i'd recommend nalhost.com which is owned by the same person and will be able to help you against any attacks. Thanks.
  5. As posted before, buy.pw offers .pw domains for $0.40/year
  6. Fixed it by deleting the form folder, thanks otecko.
  7. No, i find that too risky and i'll do that if i can't do anything else.
  8. Hi. The installation was a success, finally, however, i've noticed the Application "Forms" causing some issues. De-activating it does not help, however, i can't uninstall it either as i get the 2048 error again. Is there any way i can remove this application?
  9. Hi. Recently i've attempted updating my IPB 4.0 from invision-virus.com to WebFlake's version, however, after doing so, everything got conflicted and i had to quit the installation and revert to my old data. However, i forgot to backup the database, now i got the old data back and ran the support tool which "fixed the database", then the forum won't even load or do anything. Please help, i want to keep my old data on the forum. UPDATE: I've managed to update it... somehow, however, the application "Forms" when disabled is causing this error EX2048 Something went wrong. Please try again. However, when i enable it, the forum works but the theme throws an error, Support just disabled the application, and i'm unable to remove Forms as the same error occurs again. Any help would be appreciated :(
