Yeah i gone in ur site .... Better you put the theme which have the big logo header then you can put the image with the logo better remove that image ..Btw ur logo will be nice without the image

Well You have to make the logo as the same size dimensions as u had with default .. Were as You can make the logo size smaller than the real size but you cant make the logo size bigger than the actual size ....By making logo bigger there will no change in size of header area
