    From a RP site stand point, it would probably a bad idea to limit the number of topics/post that a visitor may see. Because, from my view, when I am joining a site I would like to see some sort of activity. Not only from the administration members, but from the members stand point as well. So, I would personally say show off your activity. If you are wanting more members, show them that you can be an active site. Provide links to them and always encourage welcoming of guest. Don't ever be afraid to say hi to them. They might be more inclined to talking with you if you are welcoming them onto the site and being friendly with them. That is if you have a open guest chatbox that you can talk to guest to.

    Okay. Phew. Yeah, it's really weird. The highest guest count it got up to was 469. It finally went down to about 59 guest with the same IP. I dunno what's going on haha

    Hey there! I am pretty sure this is a DDOS attack, but I am not to sure. Seeing as I am not use to things like this. Here is a picture of whats going on. If you look at the guest area, it shows that there is over 400 guest. They all have the same IP. Can someone help me please on how to stop this? Thanks!

    Linked Accounts allows your members to link one or more accounts then quickly switch between them.     Definitely a knock off IPB quite honestly. I prefer IPB 3.4.x I am not fond of 4.0 because it's like they are saying "Hey V-Bulletin! We stole your look and it looks ten times better!"

    The ONLY thing I can recommend on this is download "Firebug Lite 1.4.0". It's in the Chrome & Firefox extensions. Basically, it will help you find what you are looking for in the IPB Styles or wherever you are coding. You can make live changes to the skin but it won't save. You have to find it in the CSS. It's not a tutorial but it's a HUGE help when you are coding.

    Hello! I installed the IPB 4.0 Shoutbox and I am having a bit of an issue with it. I don't know HOW to set up the permissions for it XD IPB 4.0 is VERY confusing for me so I am wondering if any of you out there can help me with it? Because I did set the permissions for the group to have access for it but when I edit it onto the main forum, it doesn't show up and every time I try clicking on the tab, it takes me to the screen where it says "you don't have permission to access this shoutbox". I checked the group settings and there is no setting for the shoutbox as there was in 3.4.8. Help please? Thank you!
