It was selinux problem?. selinux enforcing should be changed to be disabled.

Hi, I am facing problem with installing IPB forum , any version would do the same, I am on Centos 7 VPS, I have phpmyadmin and everything fine. It told me that uploads isn't writable , I've changed permission chmod -R 755 uploads and it worked , but for other directories not working. any advise ?
