How to make one Category Header Different from Others?

How can I make one category's main (cat main) different from the rest? For example, I want my premium forum's category to be Gold while the rest of the categories are blue. I seen this implemented in a couple of websites in IPB. -

The homepage is not IP.Content.. it's the Portal application and I will have a custom homepage coded in the summer - fall time. However, I see what you are saying and it's my Pet Peeve as well. I have my staff team write articles since I am very busy but I will talk to them about it! I didn't know whether people like or dislike that. For the forums, I would def look into that. I personally do not like sidebars but IPB have a build in feature for this so I will look into adding that feature back in.

Hmm.. very odd that the site is slow for you. No one else have been having issue for the site. Normally if the site doesn't load then it's do to us being attacked by someone but lately the site have been fine. Can you try now and let me know? I didn't copy TTG's rule. I didn't write the rules for the site. I had someone else write the rules but thanks for pointing this out. I will address this.

Meta Tags (html). It just takes a bit for search engines to update it. I know it took google a few weeks. -

FP is decent but def not good. For promoting your site, i suggest you try CPMs. So facebook, buysellads , etc... You gonna need $$$$

I have it and love it. I honestly can wait to see how games like BF will look in about 4 - 5 years. But back to the topic... no one is going to spend 550 (after tax) for a console when they can save $100 for a PS4.

Hey, Due to IPB having terrible hosting when it comes to DDOS attacks, what is the best hosting out there? I am interesting in monthly payments and it will be shared hosting. I had 1and1 hosting before and i had no complaints but is their any good ones? My site have been getting attacked lately and i want to know which host will do the best to prevent this. I know i can use cloudflare but i heard that they charge extra if your site is constantly getting attacked. So any suggestions?

Website Link - http://mvpxc.com Date of Creation - May 25th, 2013 Site Description - MvPxC is currently a pure gaming site. However we are slowly transitioning into a more interactive gaming site. Number of Members - 972 What i'm really looking for - Ways to improve the site. As of now we have a custom theme but for some reason we still aren't getting a lot of active members. We will go through periods of getting active members and periods of only having 3 - 4 active members. There's could be tons of reasons but i don't know them. Which is why i'm posting here So how can i improve my site?

Does the secondary group's permission carry over to the Shoutbox? For example, i have a member who's secondary group is moderator but he can't access any moderation tools for the shoutbox. Is their a setting to allow secondary group permission or is it something else?

Eh, do you know any other languages like Java? If so then learning PHP is not tough at all. If you do not know JAVA or anything similar then find a project you want to do and work on it. For me is was a forum board. Take a look at w3 and try to build a very simple function or script (like a login system) then expand on it. Add more functions. Make the code neater, etc... And bam you know PHP PS, it might work for you but books were never really my thing.
