    for community's like this it would be an understatement for someone to tell you to use one rather than another. Because when it comes down to it it's what ever forum software you feel more comfortable with and understand the functions and flexibility of it the most. Personally I'd choose IP.Board since I know how to bend it backwards ( metaphorically ). But for people to say Webflake use IP.Board rather than xenForo because IP.Board has all they need for a community like this, Well it's like your judging someone with no idea of what they have done. Because xenForo actually have all the applications and hooks that are related to what are used here on webflake. So it's just down to your personal decision on what you are wanting your forum board to be using.

    You can do it either way really. But with jQuery it slows the skin down because it has more files to load. But if your wanting to add an opacity. for example let's take the "primary_navigation" the original code for the primary_nav you add for instance a opacity: 0.5; then for the hover. #primary_nav:hover { opacity: 1; } it's pretty straight forward and easy if you think about it.

    Yeah since you now have a license and have attached it to your board, you should be fine. There should be no issues from there site with it now.

    use big dump to import your db.

    login to cpanel > phpmyadmin > your old DB > tables > you need a few tables from there such as "members" "topics" and more just take a look through because there is a few you need to actually successfully transfer all data correct > export. Make sure you have written what you have taken from the old DB. Now go through the list you have created and delete the new tables from the fresh installment and DB of your new forum. Once the tables that you have taken from the old db and deleted from the new, your going to want to import the ones you just downloaded from the old db and import them to your new db via phpmyadmin.

    to import topics and members you would need to export tables from the old backup you have and reimport them and overwrite the current new ones you have.
