Howdy WebFlakians! From this day forth, you will also be able to utilize the following services for access to your WebFlake account: This adds to our already existing login methods, Google and Twitter and brings the total to four. We think that currently this will be plenty. Facebook will not be supported. If you don't have your account linked yet, click your name at the top > "Account Settings" and enable them from there. Happy browsing! -WebFlake Team3 points

Mac OSX is far superior in my opinion, as both a OS X and Windows user, I feel that Mac OS X is much easier to use and aesthetically more pleasing. Before people say about customisation... you really don't need to customise every single feature under the sun. Security over customisation. Sorry to burst your bubble but the only thing Mac OS has going for it is the optimisation for the hardware that Apple dictates. Mac OS is so far from a secure OS, I would even go as far as saying it is less secure than Windows. You want a secure OS you will either have to create your own or really up your game and use a Linux distro. Ite... From the past 3 years here are some statistics (This is from downloading a hell of a lot of torrents, zips and rars from untrustworthy sources and both professional and casual downloads). Windows Viruses = More than 5, 1 resulting in reinstallation. Mac OS X Viruses = Less than 2, 0 resulting in reinstallation. This is from using both in the same way, laptop for when I am not at home. I know Linux is the more secure OS however I would say Mac OS X is most practical for my area of desire. Not once have I contemplated getting rid of my iMac for a Windows Desktop - it runs exactly how I need it with minimal Viruses. Viruses = Malware, Trojans, Adware, etc.1 point

Somewhere in a css file there is this line: .ipsList_inline.ipsList_csv li a:after { content: ','; } Change it to: /* .ipsList_inline.ipsList_csv li a:after { content: ','; } */1 point

8.1 is really good actually. The RAM handling is so much better than in 8 and 7. Also Windows 10, except for DX 12, is almost the same speed for gaming applications. My problem with Windows 10 is this:1 point

Looks like Phun's skin has either been taken down from the Marketplace by IPB or AfricanOreo has found some sense and deleted it himself.1 point

There have been a lot of questions about custom designs on our website and rather than repeating ourselves over and over, we're pinning this topic as a reminder. We simply do NOT provide any support for questions about customization on WebFlake. These designs are made to help make WebFlake unique. An example would be questions about our Feature Plan, which has been created by @ Tony. If Tony chooses to release a paid version or a tutorial, then you can use that but until then we're not going to provide support on how to replicate it. We also won't tell you how to copy our theme, that's just silly. This does not mean that you cannot request support for files that are available to download for free. You are always welcome to open a support topic if you have an issue or a question about a file found in our downloads system. If you are not sure whether your question is acceptable, please send a message to one of our Staff members to be sure. Please remember that we do not offer support though private messages.1 point

The average user? If you know anything about the web you know how to clear your cookies.1 point

My father thinks me making a website and buying paid hosting is stupid. So I can't buy paid hosting without him seeing my transactions. He watches my account through chase like a guard dog. I am turning 18 this year though.1 point

One of the most important elements of a website - and one that often overlooked - is the site favicon. In this tutorial, I will give you tips for creating the favicon file, and then show you how to install it on your IPB site. What is a favicon? The favicon is your website icon. This is the icon that shows up in the browser tab when someone is browsing your site. It is also the icon that shows up in the bookmark toolbar. In my opinion, the site favicon is equal in importance to your site logo - as it gives your site and/or brand graphical recognition. Creating a site favicon The size of your favicon should be 64x64. In the past, favicons were commonly 16x16 or 32x32. However, with the introduction of Windows 8, sites pinned to the "metro" interface require a 64x64 favicon in order to be displayed on the tile. Don't worry, a 64x64 favicon will not affect the way your favicon looks on a traditional desktop browser. If you want to use a pre-existing image as a favicon, the best thing to do is to download a .png image that you like, adjust it so that it is 64x64, and then save it using the file name favicon.ico You can also use the favicon.ico Generator website for help. Installing your favicon Now you need to install your favicon. Using your FTP program you will need to upload your favicon to your board directory. Most commonly, you will simply need to over-write the existing favicon.ico with your own in your forum's "home" folder. Just look for the file conf_global.php and you'll know you're in the right place. You should also see the default favicon.ico in that folder. You might also see an additional favicon.ico file in your Admin folder. Replace that as well. Initializing your favicon In most cases, when you upload a new favicon it will not show up on your website right away. I have seen this process take 24 to 72 hours to complete. So don't panic if you're not seeing your new favicon right away. However, there is a trick to see if you've installed your favicon correctly. On your sites homepace, add /favicon.ico to the end or your url. For example, you might type www.yoursite.com/favicon.ico When you do this, you should see your pre-existing favicon. Do a hard refresh of your browser by pressing CTL+F5. Now you should see your new favicon. Now go to your site and press CTL+F5 again. This may (or may not) initialize your new favicon right away. If not, as I said earlier, it can take several hours.1 point
