First and foremost, on behalf of the entire team, we'd like to thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience in our extended downtime. We have worked diligently to get the site back online as expediently as possible and hope that you'll continue to afford us that same patience as we continue updating and making adjustments to the site. Please be aware that there may have been oversight. If you find a discrepancy with previous permissions or any other bug on the site, please submit a bug report via our tracker. If you feel we are missing a feature (and I know we're missing a handful!), you're welcome to submit a suggestion using the same tracker, just select Suggestion as the Type before submitting the report. You can also find a mostly complete list of updates/changes to our website located at our new Update Notes hub. Rather than expecting you to sift through our Announcements forum, we will centralize our update notes in one convenient location. If you have submit a file on the site and have access to do so, please edit your file and correct any leftover BBCode. You'd be doing us a huge favor! Remember that some parts of the site may not be complete or entirely functional. Please report any and all bugs you encounter, especially those that are harmful to the site or its overall integrity (i.e. permissions you shouldn't have or significant glitches). We're aware that we are using a default skin. We have plans to put together a custom design in the near future but you'll simply need to tolerate the default design in the meantime.5 points

Malware comes in many forms, from an unwanted ad reappearing on your site to an executable file that infects visitors who click on it. Telltale signs that your site is infected can include unexplained ads, links or pop-ups, but some malware can have no noticeable effects at all. Your best defenses against malware are staying current with third-party application patches and using strong server passwords. When checking for the presence of malware, be sure to check the code residing on your server and not your backup files. Always use a virtual machine for verification to avoid infecting your own computer. Consider taking your site down immediately to prevent infecting visitors, and take action quickly to identify/remove it. Identifying Malware Removing Malware Preventing Malware1 point

u can remove it manually in phpmyadmin look for the members_warn_logs after logging into it and selecting the sql table ur ipboard database is installed on and remove the warning u want, u just need to know these tabs wl_member, wl_moderator, wl_reason and possibly wl_points in order to remove specific warning from the table, basically the member id of the person warned else if u delete them all everyone will no longer have warnings, id of the moderator that issued the warning, u may only want to remove a specific warning on the member this is helpful for that and the other two is self explanatory by its name it just gives u the idea1 point

yep not at present, no It is only a temporary banner and will be removed in the near future although we will look for a way to hide it for you. Thanks!1 point

You need to place the Chatbox widget by way of the Manage Blocks tab that displays on the forum index. See the image below: Don't use this plugin. It's awfully dysfunctional, unfortunately. Try this tutorial instead: Add a background image to the header This could be another dated plugin. Care to share the error?1 point

I'm really liking 3.4x so far however I'm sure I'll switch over once most of the popular plugins get updated to support 4.x especially awards, and as they've shown on the IPB site they're including user post ratings as a standard feature, though given how long a lot of them have been sitting there as "future" once can only guess I guess I'm stuck in between right now since if I go with 3.xx I'll have to worry if 4.xx will be a smooth transition and what I might lose. I'm going to try and get in touch w/ the HQ rewards developer and see what their plans are, that honestly was one of their greatest plugins imo. If nothing else I'll submit a request to have someone develop another.1 point

That would make the warning point expire however the reason would still stay.1 point

Wasn't there an option in warning settings that allow you to set x amount of days until they are automatically removed?1 point

There is a hook for this: http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/6374-nb34-remove-warning-history/ However it is a paid hook. You would be best to make a request thread as somebody may already have the hook. Kingy1 point

Are you looking for staff? Developers? Designers? Or anything else? This application was made for you! [b]Groups[/b]. Do you have a group named moderators? Just select that group and start customizing it! Applications systems lets you decide when your members will be able to apply for that group and when to end applications. You can decide whether to enable [b]comments, automatic promotions when an application is accepted, posting settings, group images[/b] and much more. [b]Requirements[/b]. Of course you don't want ALL your members to apply, you want the best, experienced, most creative out there. Applications system lets you filter members who can apply. You can set [b]age, minimum posts number, maximum warning level tolerated, time spent on your board[/b] and more. No more newbies at your door, if you don't want them. [b]Questions[/b]. For each group selected, you can also choose questions or create brand new ones. Questions will help you decide whether accepting an user or not, by reading their reply. Looking for reporters? Make them write a short article to test their writing skills. Looking for translators? Make them select languages that they know! [b]Statuses[/b]. Every application will go through some statuses. You can decide the [b]default status[/b] applications will be when they are submitted. The application comes with the [b]In pending, Refused, Accepted, Not Valid[/b], but you can create as many as you want depending on your boards needs. Do you have an online gaming community? Create the "Sent to a Sergeant" to let members know that a "Super Moderator" is deciding if accepting them or not! [b]Moderators[/b]. It can be quite impossible to manage all applications, that's why you can choose someone to help you. You can customize their powers, like what statuses they can manage and which ones they can set. You will want only those one who you trust more to be able to accept applications and let the other ones to check appliers data before sending the application to them. [b]Much more![/b]1 point
