  1. More and more websites are starting to use Font Glyphs or Font Icons. They're easy to make, easy to pick from and their incredibly light weight compared to independent images or even sprites. What are the major advantages of using Icon Fonts? They are vector, which means they can scale indefinitely without losing quality They are lightweight They are supported by every browser You can add almost any thinkable text css to them (shadows, colors, rotation, gradients) Takes fewer HTTP requests to your server = less load :3 So what are disadvantages of using Icon Fonts? Screenreaders may misinterpret fonticons, reading them out loud DUSTY OLD BROWSERS cannot render font icons. But really, who uses IE7 anymore. You can only serve font icons in a single color -or- in a gradient. No fancy multicolor rainbow awesomeness. Firefox sometimes renders icon fonts with a larger font-weight (bolder), so they may look differently on there. 2. Greetings. In view of the fact that I had tried to find on the whole internet how to change position of Reputation Bar to the left side of posts and couldn't find it anywhere, now I know how to do it and here is the tutorial. Thanks to user Sanctuary, who told me how to change position of Like-button, so that I could easily find out how to change position of Rep-button. This tutorial shows how to move it to the left side of a post (see the screens below). If you would like to center it in the middle, see by Sanctuary. How to change position of Like button? Simply go to: ACP -> Look & Feel -> Your Skin -> Other Global Templates -> repButtons, find this: <div class='ipsLikeBar right clearfix' id='{$data['domCountId']}'> and replace it with: <div class='ipsLikeBar left clearfix' id='{$data['domCountId']}'> How to change position of Reputation buttons? Simply go to: ACP -> Look & Feel -> Your Skin -> Other Global Templates -> repButtons, find this: <div class='rep_bar clearfix <if test="pos:|:!$data['position'] || $data['position'] == 'right'">right</if>' id='{$data['domCountId']}'> and replace it with: <div class='rep_bar clearfix <if test="pos:|:!$data['position'] || $data['position'] == 'left'">left</if>' id='{$data['domCountId']}'>

  5. I've installed this skin and checked, It is definitely in there, This was a brand new installation with just this single skin installed, When modified it gave the desired output above, The CSS for this is pulled via a Iframe as you can see in the Tree here: If you like I can show you, Drop me a PM if you wish.

Inside your /home/www/public/style_images/esmona/ Folder there is a file called ust.css inside this file you will find the relevent things you need to modify, For example: body { /* Font */ font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; /* Text color */ color: #bcbcbc; /* Remove the background color to make it transparent */ background-color: #1a1a1a; } To: body { /* Font */ font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; /* Text color */ color: #000; /* Remove the background color to make it transparent */ background-color: #fff; } you can download the whole file here Which will give the following:
