  2. Happens a lot. Bad programming so you can use ftp and edit the initdata.php file changing this //-------------------------------------------------------------------------- // ADVANCED CONFIGURATION: ERROR REPORTING //-------------------------------------------------------------------------- error_reporting( E_STRICT | E_ERROR | E_WARNING | E_PARSE | E_RECOVERABLE_ERROR | E_COMPILE_ERROR | E_USER_ERROR | E_USER_WARNING ); to this //-------------------------------------------------------------------------- // ADVANCED CONFIGURATION: ERROR REPORTING //-------------------------------------------------------------------------- error_reporting( E_STRICT | E_ERROR | E_PARSE | E_RECOVERABLE_ERROR | E_COMPILE_ERROR | E_USER_ERROR | E_USER_WARNING );

  3. I, for one, can't believe that even after the administration team put up that gigantic banner, people continued to violate the shoutbox rules. You're taking away your own privileges, people!

  4. Comments & Criticism welcome. Don't do graphic design too often.

  5. I'm pretty happy with the design myself, what do you guys think? Notice the resize bar in the shoutbox ^_^

  6. Despite having a rather large banner in place that states very clearly that we do not allow support questions or requests in our shoutbox, we've still had several users completely ignore that banner, just today. In case you've somehow missed it: We're going to try a more simplistic approach to violations in the future. First Violation - Warning point + 24/48 hr suspension from shoutbox Second Violation - Warning point + permanent ban from shoutbox Harsh? Perhaps. However, constantly keeping notes and giving users a free pass for violating the shoutbox is becoming quite the hassle. Remember, these warning points will count toward our standard penalty volcano (I'll post more on that later). If you already have a point for say, spamming.. and you accrue two points for violating the shoutbox guidelines, not only will you lose your shoutbox privileges permanently, but you'll earn a three day account suspension as well for having accrued three total points. Note: Shoutbox violations no longer have an expiration. I really, really do not want to run this place like a prison compound. I hate that a select few have a way of souring things for other members, but those of you who abide by our guidelines will do just fine. "I didn't know" or "I'm new" are no longer acceptable excuses which is why any violation in the shoutbox will incur a temporary ban once, and then a permanent ban after.
