  1. I wouldn't say it's so much offended as it is dumbfounded by the question. On a site where everything is free.. asking if a miniscule contribution is "worth it", does seem a bit entitled and arrogant. Anytime you give back to a community you've already taken so much from, is certainly "worth it".

  2. In general, most tutorials for 3.4.x work in 3.3.x and 3.2.x.

  4. The key part of your entire post is what I quoted... this isn't a problem WE can help you with. You need to contact your web host and provide them with the error displayed.

  10. in the upper right corner of your admin control panel, there is a search box. Type in "gravatars" and it will find one result. Click on it and disable its option

  12. If some people are having trouble, I have working edited files that I will provide a download for. These files were edited by Phun. First File: cp_skin_global.php https://dl.dropbox.com/s/m2un12v076k3noc/cp_skin_global.php?token_hash=AAFrmGr3yhiJ2qLNkQvdsYPt9G37h7d_rCtyjoTWcicFuA&dl=1 Second File: dashboardNotifications.php https://dl.dropbox.com/s/r11jvivqfv382ds/dashboardNotifications.php?token_hash=AAFrl9cww8Dxa7xfj3cwc5XolhQeHVsj8y68_YHNXUcWNw&dl=1 Just copy the link and put it in your address bar. After they are downloaded, use an FTP and upload them to the respective folders. If you are unsure what the folders are, follow the guide below: cp_skin_global.php goes to admin and then into skin_cp. dashboardNotifications.php goes to admin then applications then to core and finally into extensions.

  13. Paradiizee administrates WebFlake voluntarily.. he isn't a personal developer for all members. Copy/paste the edited files using PasteBin... http://pastebin.com/ Then link to both of those files in your next response. Do NOT copy/paste them directly into the post.. both files are large and having a mile-long post isn't necessary.

  14. Last I knew, if you had something specific you were interested in that you're positive was available on FC, you could make a request for it and one of the Staff members can yank it from a backup database. Whether that still stands or not, I haven't a clue. You'll want to ask for *official* confirmation.

  15. The administration team didn't have much of a choice, and honestly, it's for the better though. There were far too many bloated threads with spam "thanks" and attempts to increase post counts, along with a mix of outdated, dysfunctional releases. It was far too much for the Staff team to manage effectively, and this fresh start will give them a better opportunity to ensure WebFlake doesn't go that direction.

  16. It's always best to utilize the latest release.. primarily for needed bug corrections, as well as security updates and exploit fixes. IPB 3.3.4 was a fairly stable release, but 3.4.x introduced a handful of new features and a ton of new security.

  17. WebFlake continues to expand rapidly every day.. and it'll only continue to get better. The entire demeanor and overall direction of the community is far better than ForumCore, tenfold. Not to knock on 'ole FC, but I'm excited for WebFlake's potential. Welcome to WF!

  18. The first one is a little over the top (and probably staged), but either way.. an epic proposal.

  19. Yes, but the only ones I'm aware of are boards that either offer nulled/"pirated" content, or sites with a member count numbering in the thousands. For a few hundred users for anything un-related to file sharing, it's not likely they'll waste their time tracking you down.

  21. I've been using nulled content with GoDaddy for a few years, without an issue. Hell, I'm an affiliate/partner, even! I have yet to test the waters by using retail content without a license, however. Worst case scenario, an onshore host forces you to shut your site down. You won't be slapped with fines or anything of the sort (unless of course, your site is somehow inflicting monetary loss to IPS). As for why people use nulled content.. try-before-buy, or maybe the simplest answer is: pricing. xenForo was a lifetime license when I nabbed it.. IPS requires yearly renewals for upgrades and that is simply ridiculous.

  22. You can change that blue color in your templates... Look for background-color. Look & Feel > Manage Skin Sets & Templates > YOUR TEMPLATE > skin_donate_external > donateGraph That won't adjust the other colors, however (not to my knowledge).
