  1. Let me settle all the speculation on why I am no longer an admin and why I left. First, let me say, it has been my pleasure to be a part of ForumCore/WebFlake and I have nothing but admiration for the staff and members. These people, along with all of you members, have been an intricate part of my online life and will be missed greatly. Lately, I have come to realize that I'm no longer willing to spend my life butting heads with others on a daily basis. I'm very opinionated and pretty set in my ways and find some things here a little lacking. I have always tried to make things better but, when suggestions are ignored or other people get their feelings hurt, it's time to move on. In closing, let me say once again, I will miss you all and wish you and WebFlake nothing but success. Justin

  8. Note: Not exactly 'work safe'. Might also want to turn your volume down, and make there that there are no small children around you to hear this type of language. http://dagobah.net/flash/best_insult_ever.swf Probably the most creative insult ever lol.

  10. I've uploaded that already, except it was the 2.0.0 version and not the 3.1.0. Still serves the same purpose though. But I think he also wants to show "Likes Given" on the user info pane too. I'll look into it and post again if I find out how.

  11. I have taken and outcommented the following code from the template "post" in "Topic View": <if test="postMember:|:$post['author']['member_id']"> <span itemprop="creator name" class="author vcard">{parse template="userHoverCard" group="global" params="$post['author']"}</span> <else /> {parse template="userHoverCard" group="global" params="$post['author']"} </if> I then changed the code to be compliant with the userInfoPane template: <if test="postMember:|:$author['member_id']"> <span itemprop="creator name" class="post_author author vcard">{parse template="userHoverCard" group="global" params="$author"}</span> <else /> {parse template="userHoverCard" group="global" params="$author"} </if> And i've put it in the template "userInfoPane" under "Global Templates". Add it after these lines: <span class='hide' itemprop="name">{$author['members_display_name']}</span> <ul class='basic_info'> Then i've added id="postusername" after class="author vcard" In ipb_styles.css i have added this at the bottom: #postusername { font-size: 12pt;} I hope this answers your question.

  13. To configure this for a specific group.. ACP > Members > Member Groups > Manage Member Groups At the very bottom of the page is a Restrictions category. There you can limit posts per 24 hours.. or you can automatically moderate their content for X number of posts, or for X number of days.

  15. I wouldn't normally respond to a topic like this (pointless), but I've had the opportunity to talk/work with Justin on several occasions both here, and on FC. He is one of the most generous, earnest, and sincere guys I've ever had the pleasure to encounter in any sort of online community environment -- to say that his departure isn't a 'big deal' is naive. Have a look around WebFlake, you'll gain some perspective on how integral he was to the community. It's a shame seeing that he left as abruptly as he did, but I'm not privy to the facts surrounding his departure. In any event, I say we continue on and not allow his share of the hard-work go to waste.
