IP.Downloads "No file was selected for upload"

I have a problem with the IP.Downloads app everytime i seem to upload a file size of 20mb over it always comes up with "No file was selected for upload" when finished uploading, and i have already changed the file size to 50mb

Did you restart the http ?? Either restart that or the server in your VPS panel or Cpanel.

sorry but like before this doesn't help has in my cPanel the php config has a upload_max_size of 2m and i cannot change it

On cpanel; another solution is to put php.ini in your public_html folder (or your forum root) and set the environment in .htaccess

 

php.ini -

upload_max_filesize = 50Mpost_max_size = 51Mmax_input_time = 300max_execution_time = 300

 

.htaccess -

SetEnv PHPRC /public_html/php.ini

No all it does is restart the apache service that has php loaded. Then if changes were made to the php like increasing the max upload size it will reload that setting.

what's your point of posting that, it is just pointless and if your trying to take the piss because i don't know how to do it, then go away now, because not everyone knows everything about this kind of stuff, thats what this support topic is all about and on the plus side i get to learn something new, not every one knows what you know,

The instructions were pretty clear. Look in your whm panel. No it won't hurt anything. Will stop the webpages for a couple of milliseconds normally and then restart. No one should even notice.

oh yes them, but i checked and there isn't a restart service in my cPanel

The instruction to put php.ini in your public_html folder and mod .htaccess didn't work? You don't need a restart for that. This is a matter for your web hosting provider. If you cannot edit php.ini && you cannot restart your services && you can't do anything that has been sugested && you don't know how it works; then you will need to contact your host and ask them to do it for you. There is no other solution. I am assuming this is a shared hosting package.
