yea, i know for step 1 and 3 but am interested in step 2. How to upload image as attachment and place it in article?

It is not standard in IP.Content.

you have to create a field for it.

Go tot application ip.content->manage fields click on add field.

and fill out the form like this.

 Name:  attachment

Field Key : attachment (or pick your own)

 Field type:  select attachments

 A llow user editing:  yes

Treat numerically: no

Default value: i left this empty

Show field in listing template: yes

Show field in display template: yes

Topic format: {value}

Field required: no

Extra options: left it emtpy

Truncate in listing: 0

Click save.

Now go to ip.content ad article.

make your article title etc.

you should see at the bottom add attachment button. it works exactly the same as adding one in a topic or post.

Choose the attachment image and upload it, you see two options 1.Add to article(post or topic) 2.Remove.

click on add to article en publish it. image should be there as a thumbnail witch can be clicked to enlarge

Also not sure what you mean,

If you mean posting separate images in article. 3 ways

1.Upload the image to own server directory example: www.yoursite.com/images/forumcore.png

Copy that link click on the image icon in the article editor -> paste the link in the URL box and done.

Than publish the article

2. Upload the image as attachment and place that in the article

3. External image storage site: like photbucket :

Copy that link click on the image icon in the article editor -> paste the link in the URL box and done.

Than publish the article
