I'm using their mid-tier hosting package with six bustling communities and a ton of bandwidth usage, for just $8/mo. Right now, you can nab a free domain, plus their Economy Hosting (cheapest package) for a total of $17. The first-time fee will be a little high for the domain registration and such, but I can shoot you a coupon code for 35% off (knocking it down to about $11) . Also, if you purchase 12 months of hosting, you save 50% on the retail value, and you'd save even more with the coupon (plus the domain is free), and you'd only need about $23 total for a full year of hosting + domain registration. I don't think you'll find much better (except maybe in price) but the quality support/service provided by Go Daddy more than makes up for it. The only bad thing about them is that there's a lot of marketing strategy in their hosting "accessories", but anyways, it does worth it if you're using coupons.
